Perfect watch for tracking outdoor runs. GPS is accurate and connects fast. If your looking for a solid running watch without the price tag this should work fine.

I was a forerunner 10 user. I decided to upgrade due to the inclusion of heart rate in the watch. The Forerunner 35 also includes other fitness features but I'm only interested in distance, time, and heart rate. The 35 works well; it picks up the satellite signal reasonably quickly and after using the watch a couple of times, the controls become intuitive. The watch syncs easily with a smartphone and you can review your running using the Garmin app. The only negative are the tiny push buttons and their close spacing. Bottom Line - if you want a distance, time, heart rate tracker, the 35 fits the bill.

A significant improvement over the Forerunner 110

I don't have a lot of experience with running watches but this was a huge improvement over my old Gamin Forerunnner 110. It finds satellites most times in 10 seconds or less. There are a few different exercise mode but I do wish it a had a hiking mode built into the software. The watchband although a little thinner seems more durable and less pron to breakage unlike the 110 model. The battery last a lot longer too.

Bought a Garmin chest band with wrist monitor after pacemaker insertion 8 years ago. Found out heart was beating too fast to run. Couldn't tell in pool until this watch. Evidently my heart can't cool my body and workout, but heart can workout just fine as long as it doesn't have to cool. The customizable HR alarm zones let me know when I've exceeded my limit when cutting grass as well. I feel like I've been given a new lease on life at 66 or at least a temporary reprieve.

I was looking for a new fitness tracking watch with a batter that would last through a long run. Lots of the watches out there have lots of features, but can't do GPS tracking for more than an hour. I wore this watch for a week without charging it, including 2 half-hour runs, and it still had half it's battery power left. Also, the text is big and bold, making it easy to read the screen while running.

I love the ease of use and also the heart rate . Has buttons ,I also own the Vivoactive and the Vivoactive HR. This is my favorite. I've used this watch the most. No touch screen , so I'm not turning it on by bumping it. Etc. Would buy again. The only problem is I bought a black band thinking I could buy the other colored bands but last time I looked they weren't offered. That sucks. Come on Garmin let's get the suppliers in gear. We need to accessorize. Bought it for a Christmas present for a Dr. friend and loves it.

Easy to set up and sync. It's very useful for tracking my daily activities, especially the GPS tracking, without having to carry my phone. Now I can go on walks and runs without specific plans, track my distance, and then see where I went when I get back home. The sleep tracker has also been useful to track how many hours I am getting each night, and it has been very accurate in recording my sleep and wake times.

For just $90, I received a running watch that maps my run, measures my cadence, my speed, and heart rate. It also tracks my heart rate and movement throughout the day and records my heart rate and sleep quality each night. I use an Ant+ heart rate transmitter during workouts for HR accuracy. I'm very happy with the Forerunner 35.

I do a lot of walking and try to keep fit. I bought this watch and I love it! It gives me an accurate GPS reading of how far I walked. itt even show me a map of my route. Breaks down the pace for each mile, my heartbeat, and how far I walked all year. The heartbeat while exercising can be off by up to 10BPM. I would buy this item again

    SPORT SMART WATCH

I really just wanted a smart watch to track sleep patterns, as well as my steps throughout the day. I am by no means an "activity buff" as I am in my 70s. I like the MOVE function which reminds me to move when I have been inactive/sitting for a period of time...makes me get up and move. The battery seems to last for about 3 to 4 days and charges very quickly. All in all, I really like the GARMIN FORERUNNER 35, even thought I don't use it for as much as it is capable of doing...
