Honest Review + Benefits (Check Bullet Points)

I've used over 10 different watches in my life and all in all the 965 is probably the best smart watch I have purchased albeit ata very premium price. That being said, comparing a Garmin watch to an Apple or Google watch is like comparing apples to oranges (no pun intended). You are going to have to sacrifice seamless integration and answering calls and texts, but the payoff is HUGE. -Better battery life (22-30 days for me) -Significantly more fitness based -3rd party watch faces -premium build -durable: The gorilla glass is incredibly strong so far -Metrics: training readiness, sleep coach, status, estimated race times, training plans, auto strength workout, etc -Checks HR every second of every day (as opposed to once per hour)

Garmin Upgrade: A Comprehensive Review of Enhanced

I have always been a loyal user of Garmin smartwatches, and my previous timepiece was the Fenix 6 Pro Solar. The reason behind my decision to upgrade stemmed from my desire for a watch with similar features, but with a notable improvement in screen quality. Opting for a different Garmin model over the Fenix, I found that it not only maintained the functionalities I relied on but also offered substantial updates, particularly in terms of a superior, lighter, and more compact screen. While the screen is slightly smaller than that of my previous Fenix, the 47 mm display is undoubtedly sufficient. This Garmin watch caters to my diverse activities, allowing me to seamlessly track my runs, enjoy pool sessions, partake in golf games, and navigate hikes with the convenience of an included map. Remarkably, the battery life impressively extends to nearly two weeks, covering my varied activities without requiring frequent recharges. This decision not only met my specific needs but also managed to save me a few hundred dollars compared to a potential Fenix upgrade. Consequently, I wholeheartedly recommend this Garmin watch for individuals seeking reliable functionalities in activities such as running, swimming, hiking, and even golf.

The FR 965 is a huge improvement over prior models I used. Moving up from Vivoactive to 245Music to 965 now, the improvements are obvious. Display is awesome, battery life is in a new league especially considering the charge time is still minimal. I love the ease of use for multisport (reason I upgraded), and latest software update with auto transition makes this even easier. Sleep coach, training readiness and morning report have become quick favorites.

I can’t believe I didn’t buy one sooner. If you are at all into any type of fitness or healthy lifestyle, you should have a Garmin. I went with the 965 because I saw that it had a lot of the same features as the fenix series with out the larger price tag. A lot of video reviews claim that it’s better to have the lighter weight and that sometimes the fenix has gps tracking issues. Have had it for 2 weeks now and have done workouts, trail runs, regular street runs and just walks. Tracks everything perfectly, counts calories and evaluates my sleep. I’ve only charged it 2 times and it wasn’t even below 40% each time. I switched from a Samsung S3 that I have had for a while, definitely worth the upgrade. Trying to convince the wife to get one, and I put the fenix display on it so it feels more like one.

Garmin FR ftw! Avoid toy watch & constant charging

Replaced a quickly broken Pixel Watch2 (toy) w/a Garmin FR. Great move! Google's repair policy is buy another. Constant need to charge Pixel2 watch & inability to play downloaded music longer than 20 mins is a Google thing. Garmin's been getting it right for years. I'm actually glad my toy Pixel2 watch broke. Be smarter than I was. If you want a solid watch, buy a Garmin!

I've had an Apple Watch for years and doing the switch to Garmin is one I don't regret! Battery life and the tips it gives me are always on point. It's versatile for everyone's fitness needs/goals. Very easy to use and straight forward. The AMOLED also gives it that vibrant color and look of a smartwatch. I recommended the same one to my friend and he already bought it!

This is an excellent device for health fitness. I never know the root of my stress until I get the watch. It shows me how many calories my body actually needs and also gives me insight on how much sleep that I need for recovery. The vibrant display is really nice and the battery is a huge advantage. I also have a sense on my workout to make it more efficient. I would recommend this to any one.

    Factually the Best smart watch

Garmin makes the best all round amet watches. Why? 21 days battery life, quick charge, Garmin pay, music, workout , various health and activity tracking, good collection of faces, water and dust proof, GPS, rugged, good resale etc. I think this is the only thing keeping Garmin name alive with consumers and forerunner 965 is the best Garmin I have owned. Great Job and keep it up. The only negative is a proprietary port for charging which is easily remedied with a cheap USB c to Garmin converter which fits on my key chain so totally five stars. Just imagine not packing a charging cable on long long vacations and not worrying about payments or getting water damaged. Great product.

This is the best smartwatch I've used. Coming from a pixel watch it's a good experience. The battery life is amazing and it accurately tracks my runs. I got it for running triathlons and no issues. The only downside is that it's not the pure Android wear ecosystem but if you need messages to show up, battery longevity, accurate tracking. This is the device for you!

I have owned Apple Watches for awhile now and decided to go with this Garmin based on reviews. Let me tell you, you will not be disappointed. The battery life on this watch is unmatchable and second to none. The user interface is appealing and easy to navigate. This watch is a must have for those who prefer smart watches.

There are more features than I could’ve expected. I get my text notifications just like previous watches with the added bonus of training readiness, sleep info, and many other metrics. Battery life is better than any watch I’ve owned. I’m very glad I made this purchase

The overall switch was definitely worth it. Baterry life on my apple was a constant charge every day compared to my garmin where i had to charge on day 10-12 for my garmin. I used the two watches mainly for my runs and workouts and the accuracy on the garmin when it came to tracking was more consistent. If your thinking about the switch. Just Do It !

I've been an apple watch user since the series 3,my last apple watch was the series 8. I made the change because I was tired of having a watch that the battery would die with in 8 hours of use and wouldnt track a work out correctly. I absolutely love the the Garmin forerunner 965 for many reasons. * The battery last 9 days or more depending on usage. *The Garmin interface is user friendly and staright up. * It works perfectly and syncs perfectly with many work out and health apps. * It monitors many things such as your sleep and it gives a you score, stress level, your breathes per minutes, it tracks your training readines ( it tells when to rest recovery time and recommendations for the following workout). It monitors your stress level and tbh it's accurate because it uses a lot of data to come up with you stress level. *It lets you download maps and the maps don't require and LTE connection, so perfect for hiking and other out door activities. * over it's a solid watch ⌚ user friendly and it's compatible with Apple and android. * the pairing process is really easy.
