I have other Garmin products and use Garmin Connect to track my fitness and health goals. The Index Smart Scale was easy to set up with my wireless network and works great. As soon as I confirm I am the person standing on the scale, Index communicates all the vital information to the router which uploads to Connect. Couldn't be easier!

Easy to configure through a bluetooth device, although data upload to Garmin Connect requires wifi, just keep that in mind, it does not upload through phone. Weight is accurate vs old scale, the rest of the measurements are stable without sudden outliers. Looks good and makes logging personal data very easy vs. keeping track manually

My wife and I are trying to shed some unwanted weight, and this scale is helping us meet our goals. It synchs up easily with out Garmin apps, and even has the ability to make a determination as to which of us is standing on the scale, and upload the weight data to the correct smartphone. The digital display is large and easy to read.

For a year, I used the Fitbit Aria along with my Fitbit charge HR. Since my Fitbit Charge HR developed air bubbles, I switched to the Garmin Vivoactive HR. I LOVE IT. I purchased the Garmin Index to get the extra data to upload automatically to my connect app. The pros include that it automatically stores that data to the app. Areas of growth include that it only stores data once a day. I've found that the scale doesn't always turn on immediately when I step on it. Sometimes, I have to tap on the scale a few times before I stand it. I like the Garmin Vivoactive HR. The Index scale isn't my favorite scale.

After setting up and first use, wouldn’t connect with network. After resets and battery changes, it eventually updated. Now great and providing useful and consistent data.

I have Fitbit aria first gen. It’s great when it’s all connected to network, but it’s such a pain in the rear try to reconnect to network. That’s why I purchased the garmin index scale. I had no issue connect it to network and it function well as advertised!

My first smart scale love it, it has made tracking my results a lot of fun. My only problem is having some small kids they get on and I wind up with their results in my account. They have to be 16 to get their own accounts. Garmin should make a provision for kids accounts.

I bought this scale for my husband after our long-time scale worked no more. He is a cyclist and uses Garmin devices. He has been very pleased with the scale and says it communicates well with his other Garmin products. The data is ultimately collected by the "Health" app on his iPhone 6.

I use this product along with a Garmin Fenix smart watch both connect to the same app and create a holistic fitness picture. Simply setup the wifi connection, associate with your profile and it is hassel free from that point forward.

This is a great scale that has a lot of functions! I do have terrible WiFi which means the data is not always sent in real time...not sure if there is a Bluetooth method but that would be nice so it doesn’t depend on WiFi!

Does the job quite nice, and can be used for two users however, you can buy an underarmor barnd that is cheaper and does the same thing.

I began using this scale as soon as I got it home, and other than a few initial troubles getting it set up (mostly due to shotty wifi) I have really enjoyed the product. It automatically syncs with my Garmin connect and is very helpful with keeping me informed. I really like this scale!
