I was looking for the GPS for the last 3 months and I found that Garmin is the best one among all. The prior models of Garmin was not that slim with in my budget. I was thinking to buy tomtom because of the slim ness, according to several reviews I thought it may not be that accurate with Garmin. I bought NUVI 200 3weeks back and it is working fantastic at all the places and it has lot of additional features. I would suggest strongly any one who wants basic GPS with accurate results.

This Garmin was very simple to use. I like the large print, when typing in locations. Instructions are easy to follow and understand. The voice directions are very distinct and easy to hear. The map is very easy to see. I like the color coding and the icon for the left & right turns. I especially like the slim size its very comfortable to carry in a shirt pocket, and not to bulky to put in a purse when not in use. Highly recommend this model, very economical and does a great job.

I also got this one on Black Friday (in fact, I bought 3 of them for the entire family) and we loved it. My 16 years old twins can now drive and don't get lost and it is really helpfull for my wife and I. Price was really great and cheap, and my only CONS are some big stores missing on the POIs and my street is not listed yet, even though my neighborhood is over 3 years old now, I had to save my house location in coordinates, not as street address. This is the only bad thing about the software and the GPS.

I've had the nuvi 200 for 4 days now, and I love it! The fact that the system does not speak actual street names, isn't a problem for me being that the street signs outside NYC are so small/ hardly visible. I've noticed that it takes a long time to acquire the satellite after leaving last known destination. I purposely got lost and the system recalculated to get me back to where I needed to be. No more trying to read printed direction (mapquest) and trying to pay attention to the road especially at night!

I recently purchased this GPS for my wife's birthday. We live in a metro area, and she works as a pharmaceutical sales rep. She is on the road constantly, and needed a basic GPS, without all the bells and whistles (Bluetooth, MP3, etc.). I purchased this one on sale for 299, and it has paid for itself within a matter of weeks. I did not feel the need to spend 4 or 5 hundred dollars to upgrade, and you cannot go wrong with a Garmin. Could not be more pleased with this product.

When I started looking for a GPS system, I had no idea what to look for. The Best Buy sales associate helped me pick out this one and it does everything I need it to do. I have to do a lot of business travel and it gets me where I need to be every time! Now, I don't know what I would do without it. It is also very easily moved to another vehicle when I have a business partner to travel with. This is a great unit without the unnecessary add-ons. And, what a great price!

I would literally be lost all the time without my Nuvi. It gives more accurate directions than the average mapquest or google map search. It is also helpful because if you miss a turn or have to go around construction or decide to take an alternate route because of traffic or an accident it will automatically reroute you. The only thing lacking is the voice prompts do not name the street when they tell you to turn. They show the street names on the screen though, so it doesn't seem that important.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my 17 year old daughter. It took me about 5 minutes to locate the initial signal and then all she does is type in the device where she wants to go and it takes her there. Well worth the piece of mind knowing my daughter can always get help via this device if she is lost. Touch screen, light wieght , and easy to use ( a lot easier than say the Mercedes Benz system). This device does not freeze either, Well worth the $249.00.

Even though this is one of the cheapest Garmin models on the market, it is still a quality GPS. I don't miss the features not included here that are typically found on the pricier models. Streets are very current, but I have found that destinations are not reliable (i.e. restaurants, shopping malls, etc), especially newer developments. The suction windshield attachment was a bit flimsy, but the non-skid dashboard mount accessory works great. Overall, I'd highly recommend this product!

I got this as a Christmas gift from my wife while in New England visiting relatives. It was great to use it while navigating through the New York City area trying to avoid the next traffic jam. Easy to use. Nice sized screen. Bright display. Basically a plug-in and go device. Better than that other brand everyone was selling for $150. Worth the extra money. Everyone should have one. Beats using Mapquest hands down and even recoginizes my apartment complex.

I have been using the Garmin for about a month now. It is easy to use and gives accurate directions. Most recently, I used it on a trip to Nashville. I usually get turned around and end up going in circles when I travel to Nashville, but the Garmin kept me going in the right direction. The only downside is, it is a little challenged when it comes to pinpointing an address. It does get you close enough to the address though that it has not been a problem. I recommend this product.

My husband and I purchased our GPS before our trip to Houston and absolutely loved it!! From the moment we walked out of the store I plugged it into our car adapter and was able to work it w/o even reading the directions, it's so easy to use. It accurately guided us through traffic, intersections, etc., we never got lost, which was a first!! I don't know how we operated in the past without it. My first GPS and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I definitely recommend this unit. It is very acurate, and calculates the route to your destination very quickly. When you veer of route, the unit quickly recalculates the route within seconds. It fits perfectly in your pocket, so it goes with you easily. The voice navigation is clear and pleasant. The only drawback is that the unit is a little slow to acquire a sqtellite signal when your first boot it up, but that isn't a big enough problem to not recommend this unit.

For the money, I have not found a better product offers the features I needed. It zooms in for those high-detail turns, it is already loaded with plenty of sites (shopping, gas stations, restaraunts, etc) and locations (my newly built house), and is a very convenient package (pocket-sized, easily attached to your dash or window). Both my wife and I were able to pick it up and use it immediately- very intuitive controls!

I found this unit to be extremely easy to use, even for those who are not computer literate. Selections narrow down from state, city and street address with th Garmin able to determine your desired destination, usually with your only inputting a few digits of information. The voice turn by turn directions are generally easy to follow and quickly recalculates a new route if you do not follow the initial instructions.

I bought this from Best Buy and they were very informative. I was hesitate on how it would work. Would it take me the long way around? Even know where I was at or put me in more traffic. But it did NOT. There was a traffic accident on 30 and I was able to pull out the GPS and find a route around the back up. It was GREAT! Otherwise I would probably still be sitting there. Easy to use and see when driving.

Bought mines on Black Friday for $169.00 what can i say, right out the box very easy to use, even if this is your frist GPS,i played around with it for a while before i put it in my car,this GPS fits my needs,i dont need Bluetooth and MP3 to play from my GPS like others might for more money, from point A to B you cant beat this and it do have a lot more fetures like the POI and Card slot...check it out.

Got this for Christmas and it is great. No maps needed ever again so I dont have to pull over to find my way. Easy set up, worked right out of the box. Ive lived in StLouis all my life and already Ive been on streets Ive never been on. It takes you the shortest route to your destination, therefore saving gas. I can see that within a year I will have saved enough in fuel to more than pay for this beauty

This is great product! It will get to you to your destination via "shortest route" or "fastest time." It provides you with the opportunity to avoid tolls, which I think is a great feature. I think you will be very happy buying this product. If you're willing to spend a little more money on a GPS, I would recommend you spend it a GPS that speaks street names. It will make your life so much easier.

As a first time NAV buyer and user, I wanted the reputation and reliablity of the Garmin brand. I knew that I would only use the NAV occasionally for trips to unknown cities, so this was perfect as I didn't need the extra bells and whistles and didn't want to spend too much. The NAV was up and running right out of the box, and never again will I shamefully stop at a gas station to ask for directions!
