May daughter could get lost backing out of the driveway. Since buying this item she has not once called home to tell me she was lost and ask how she is supposet to get home. True no everyone has this issue but many of us know a direction challenged individual and this is the gift to kee them on track. I have used it myself and am buying myself a wide screen as a christmas present to myself.

I love the GPS system. It has saved me from gettin lost on numerous occasions. I love the fact how it is portable. It is greate how it categorizes all the locations, ex food locations you can choose from chinese, american etc. Highly recommend this product.

I have used a few different GPS units, most notably a TomTom and another high-end Garmin. They were much more expensive and had a bunch of extra features that I never used (mp3 player, etc.). This unit is compact and has the great navigation ability that you expect from Garmin. If you are looking for an great unit at an even better price, grab this and you won't be dissappointed.

This was my first time buying a navi system for myself. This is a great product!!! I would highly recommend it...acutally I told my aunt and uncle and they brought theirs 1 week after I got mines. The only downside is that it took me the "long way" to a place, but I still got there in the end. A MUST buy for a first time navi buyer. Especially for it's price and easy usage.

We took a trip into Wisconsin this past weekend and it knocked off an hour and a half from our usual 8 hour trip. We assumed the way we had always gone was the fastest way and everyone we knew took the same way. Needless to say it really is THAT good. We live in Southern IL and it worked wonders for us. NEVER DRIVE THE SAME OLD ROUTE AGAIN! Unless you want to of course.

I like the graphics on the Garmin and the menu layout. Every menu seems to be in the right place. The interface is fast. The drawback: 50/50 accurate in L.A. and San Diego counties. The unit lists two "535 Grand Ave" under Los Angeles, when in fact one is in San Pedro (a city in L.A. County). I've been lost twice trying to locate that street because the unit keeps taking me to I-405 instead of I-5, because the unit is in really taking me to San Pedro but it shows in the menu as a Los Angeles city location. Another thing, it will struggle where the 101, 110, 5, and 10 meet and other intersecting SoCal freeways where it will confuse where you are and will tell you you're in a specific highway when you are not (of course it will recalculate, but how many miles more until the next available exit). It doesn't have updated mapping software for newly-incorporated cities in San Diego like San Elijo Hills, and the roads that go with them. Perfect example: San Pedro, which is a separately incorporated city in L.A. county, as in Pasadena, Santa Monica, and Whittier. But it listed San Pedro as LOS ANGELES city.

I like most things about this unit, but I just can't live with the voice. Not only is it annoying, but it talks too much when it isn't necessary. Other than that, it is easy to use, has very good features like the ability to find points of interest along your route, and I especially like the data screen that tells you your time stopped, time moving, average speed, present speed, ETA, etc.

This product was a life saver this summer while traveling for 3 months. We were able to set our destination and go without the hassle of a map which, for many cities, does not have street inserts. The Garmin was easy to use for finding motels and shopping areas. Only once did it misguide us and another brand in another car traveling with us did the same thing.

This unit is very easy to use. It recalculates routes fast. Maps are very up to date. Included address of house that was just built 1 month before purchase. One of the main reasons I purchased this unit was that it easily fits in your pocket but still calculates routes quickly. If you looking for a good low end gps that is portable and works well, this is the one.

The GPS was very user friendly and easy to figure out. I have found that I do not have to leave as early when going some where that is unfamilar thanks to the Garmin. I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone. After showing it to my mother, who is not very savvy with electronics, she went and bought the same one and does not go any where without.

We bought our Nuvi 200 for a door buster price. For what we paid, it is a steal. However for $240 or more....keep looking. I like it. The screen is a decent size. The features are great and there are plenty of them. My only complaint is that it may take a minute or two to obtain a signal. But again, the next time we travel abroad the mileage and currency converter will come in handy.

Garmin is a great investment! We have used it to go everywhere! We even look up restaurants around town to give us new ideas! It sometimes gets confused if you enter a location and it is newly built. But other than that it is very useful and handy.It allows you to relax on a trip without having to be worried about getting lost on the way to your destination!

I got the Garmin Nuvi200 for my husband for his birthday. It was a huge hit. He has played around with it finding locations for a few weeks but yesterday he had to go to a place out of state that he hadn't been before and it truly helped getting there. He also really likes how it re-calculates detours and if you go a different road then originally advised.

I love my Garmin, it has helped me navigate around cities and areas that I have never been. It takes away all the stress of not knowing where places are such as Gas, Coffee or the local pizza place. I love the feature to take freeways or not. It offers you many options that make you more comfortable on the road. It also directs you the shortest route.

Recently traveled 6000 miles to and from grand canyon and yellowstone never once had to stop and ask for directions. Even if you make a mistake on your part the nuvi will correct it and get you back on track. Makes sight seeing in unfamiliar cities a pleasure, very easy to find restraunts, points of interest and best of all how to get back to your motel.

I moved to a different state and I needed a GPS. And I got the portable one and I love it! It's very convenient. Sometimes, it loses it's connection when your driving in a very long tunnel. And sometimes, when I'm in someone else's car it doesn't pick up the satellite. But overall, I will recommend this to everyone. I love it and a lot of my friends are now wanting one.

I bought this product for my husband and we love it. He learned how to use it in one night! Would defnitely recommend it and would definitely recommend buying at Best Buy. I went to a competitor who treated me really bad and went in to Best Buy where I was treated really well and they worked with me to understand the product features clearly.

Absolutely great value for the money. Can't understand why anyone would spend more for GPS. Does what it's supposed to do and does it well. Display and audio are great. Easy to enter addresses. Even in regular map mode you can see approaching streets clearly. Makes traveling a breeze and I, too, am getting around a new state and a new town.

This product is great! I bought it for my mom for Christmas a little worried that it would be a little confusing for her. She is not very tech savvy and usually requires help BUT she LOVES it. The touch screen is great and so easy to use. The voice tells you what street is coming up rather than "make a left in 400 ft" I would totally recommend this to everyone!

great routing.. amazing POI..fast recalculations.., it doesnt have TTS but i am not sure how useful that will be for the extra money...this is the most useful electronic gadget i have ever got ...i thought GPS was all about going from point A to point B.. after getting one i realized with the extensive POI database ...your life changes...
