I had an older Garmin and needed a new one. This one is bigger and more features than what I had. It tells you traffic info that my other one never did and gives you options on detour. This is really an excellent navigation system. The price was also the lowest I found from other stores. I plan on buying another one cause I had to give this to buy BF. :(

Easy to set up and start using. Would have preferred instructions included w product once this was a gift for my 79 year old father. We had to show him how to set up and proceed...he took notes to have on hand. He seemed fine with our instructions and has used it locally to get the feel of it. Has had no problems and agrees directions are clear and loud and gives him plenty of warning for changes. Well worth the cost!

I received this GPS to replace an earlier Garmin Nuvi model that had simply died of old age and over use. I rely heavily on these things and decided that this model with a screen slightly larger than my old one would be a good choice. I have used the device a number of times now and it has worked very well. The only problems I have are with the bracket used to mount it to the windshield and the contrast of the display. I have a Ford Focus with a deep windshield. I leave the suction cup attachment attached to the windshield, but remove the GPS when not in use. The problem I have with this model is getting the GPS mounted in the suction cup holder. It's easy to do when you have both items in your hands, but a REAL pain when trying to reach across the dash. My old model snapped right in ... this on is far more difficult. The second problem I have with this model compared to my old one is the image contrast. I am familiar with the brightness settings, but regardless of how I adjust them when in bright sunlight the image is difficult to see. Works great on a cloudy day and obviously at night, but in the direct sun you really have to look at it to see the image. Everything else in fine ... it got me where I needed to go today and I fully expect it to do the same tomorrow.

Easy to use GPS, big screen. Lifetime maps updates is a must but is limited to units memory capacity.

I am older and like a nice big GPS for directions when I travel by car. My last one was a $320 TomTom that only lasted me about 6 months till it had major issues. This one I bought for around $85 and so far so good. It has many of the same features as my more expensive one did. I am very impressed for the price. I would suggest buying the extended warranty for a few bucks, just incase as I wish I had on my other one...

This system is great for someone who just wants basic directions, maps, and trip trackers. I love the speed limit function that tells you what the posted limit is on most roads (back country roads are not generally included). You can download different customized icons, voices, etc., which aren't necessary, but fun. I love mine, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, affordable GPS option.

This is my second Garmin and it's the best you can buy. My first one was so easy I didn't need to reed the directions you can find stores without the address . It tells you how to get there and what times you will arrive. If drive slower than the speed limit the arrive time changes I just love them. Everybody should have one.

Purchased this for my dad even though the car has a navigation system. The interface of Garmin is easier to use for him then the car's infotainment os. The speaker on this is loud and the touch sensitivity is a lot better then our previous model. I always turn to Garmin as they are easy to use. The lifetime map update is a plus.

The display is splendid which along with a 5-inch screen that has large size font makes it easy to look at. The change in contour to convey the landscape along with the change in lighting as the day light changes is cool. The lane by lane guidance is also good.

Moved to a different part of the country and needed a GPS to get around and visit new places - this product relieves my stress and gives me confidence to explore my new home area and get around the state, Easy to see and Lifetime Maps gives me confidence that I have the latest information.

I had an old GPS, which was working fine, but definitely was on its last legs. I happened upon Best Buy's Black Friday in July sale and saw they had a remarkable deal on this product. It's well worth the price. Not only does it give you lifetime map updates, but it also allows you to skip toll roads...something no other GPS I've had does.

This GPS is amazing! I have had a Garmin before and this time I opted to go with a larger screen. The one I had before had "live traffic updates" but they never actually warned me until I was in the traffic and the screen was smaller. This GPS has an easy to use touchscreen and is easy to understand!

My old Garmin would no longer charge,but then again I had had it for about 7 years so... When I saw this unit at Best Buy in the Black Friday deals, I decided to get it. I wanted to stick with Garmin and the price was unbeatable. Even now it's $130. I paid $50. The screen it very large. The sound is great. It feels good in the hand. The added accessories are a plus. Haven't used the dash mount yet. I like that you can hook up a dash cam to it, although I haven't purchased one yet. Anxious to try it though. The only issue that I have with it is screen resolution. It could be more vibrant. I would still recommend this GPS to anyone.

This is the 2nd Garmin we have purchased. Our 1st did not have lifetime maps and became outdated, which is the only reason we purchased another. This unit is very simple to use and seems accurate by testing it around town. The free lifetime updates will be great.

I always trust Garmin to get me where I need to go. Bought this to replace my old Garmin. I owned a Magellan previously and I have to say the Magellan was junk compared to my Garmin. I haven't used this Garmin yet but I'm confident it will work great.

This is a great GPS very accurate easy to register and update the only thing that Irks me is that this GPS does not tell me weather the destination is on the left or right but other than that love it and it was on sale. Well worth $120 plus tax

this GPS is really functional , pretty much you have already preloaded the maps from USA and now just for Costa rica or any other place (( used in Costa rica ))) you just have to downloaded them into a micro SD card and ready to use

So far, I am liking my new GPS, especially with the map updates. It was easy to set up and has been easy to use. I like the warning of the devise being unable to use while the care is in motion. That is a great safety feature.

As I have always purchased this brand in the past and as the years go on this product keeps upgrading. The screen is huge love that feature. Each feature of the unit is awesome. Dont think I would switch to another brand ever.

It is very accurate and easy to use. The screen is very readable.
