Garmin Quatix 8 Pro Review – 4.5/5 Stars I've been wearing the Garmin Quatix 8 long enough to give an honest review, and overall, I'm very impressed. I'd give it a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars. The biggest standout is its functionality. This watch is incredibly capable, and every time I think I've explored everything it can do, I discover another feature or setting. That's one of its coolest qualities. It's easy to use for basic tasks but offers plenty of depth for those who want to explore its full capabilities. I've also been impressed by its accuracy. I've compared the blood oxygen (O2) readings with dedicated O2 sensors and checked the heart rate monitoring against other devices, and the results have been consistently reliable. The data feels trustworthy, which is important for health, fitness, and everyday tracking. When it comes to workouts, there's some room for improvement. The watch offers a comprehensive activity list and extensive tracking options, but I sometimes wish it were faster and more intuitive to start an activity. That may be partly user error, and I may not know all the shortcuts yet. Once an activity is running, tracking works well, but I'd like quicker access to workout features. My biggest complaint is the watch faces. The built-in selection is fairly limited. While Garmin's ecosystem offers plenty of alternatives, many of the better options cost extra. For a premium watch at this price point, Garmin should include a broader selection of quality watch faces out of the box. The other change I'd make is to the overall appearance. The Quatix 8 is clearly designed as a sporty watch, which is fine, but I wish it looked a bit more refined and upscale. If it incorporated some of the visual presence and elegance of the Garmin MARQ Captain, it would feel even more premium and likely attract more attention. Overall, this is an outstanding watch. Its functionality is impressive, the data appears accurate, and it continues to surprise me with its capabilities. Despite a few minor complaints about watch faces, workout accessibility, and styling, it's a watch I trust and genuinely enjoy wearing every day. Rating: 4.5/5 Stars

I recently upgraded to the Quatix 8 Pro (47mm), and it has exceeded all my expectations. As someone who spends time on the water, the marine-specific features are a game changer, but it’s also an incredible daily driver for fitness and health tracking. The AMOLED display is stunning—vibrant, sharp, and easy to read even in direct sunlight. The build quality feels extremely premium and rugged; you can tell it’s built to last. I’ve also been very impressed with the battery life, which is outstanding considering how bright and responsive the screen is. Whether I'm using it for navigation or just tracking my daily workouts, the GPS accuracy is spot on. If you are looking for a high-end smartwatch that balances professional marine tools with top-tier fitness tech, this is the one to get. Highly recommended.
