Decent swim watch

I learned more by just playing with the watch than I did by reading the instruction manual. This could be better. The syncing is difficult (almost impossible) since the wireless USB antenna sometimes doesn't work. But I think it's more of a software problem connecting to GarminConnect than a hardware problem. Not quite sure if the money was worth it but so far, good enough.

No complaints from my wife other than she was having some difficulty figuring out how to upload information to Garmin Connect. That seems to be resolved now that she's figured it out.

I swim about 1.25 miles each time which is about 70 laps. A lot of laps to count each time. I was surprised it would not work in a pool 50 feet long. It's minimum pool length is 54 feet. Most of the pools in this area are 50' long. Best buy took the watch back, no questions asked.

Pool size on the Garmin Swim can be adjusted in Swimming under Menu. The pool length can be set to 25 meters, 25 yards, 50 meters, or customized. Customizing the pool size can be set within a range of 20 to 100 meters or 22 to 100 yards.
