Basic scale but works with garmin connect. Would recommend if you use garmin products

Looks, great. Integration with Connect IQ, great. Accuracy... depends. I'm in the 10-15% body fat range and the scale puts my body fat percentage at over 25%. Garmins forums are full of people complaining about how inaccurate it is while listing several competitors that have a greater degree of accuracy that are far less expensive. If you are older and in shape it still thinks you're obese. Changing your age somehow will lower your body fat but it's all bandaids. This issue seems have been going on since it launched and Garmin has not addressed. If you want a cool looking scale that syncs with your other Garmin devices this is a nice product. If you care about any of the other biometrics other than simply weighing yourself look elsewhere and save yourself a lot of money because I wouldn't hold my breath for Garmin to fix this with a software update. Pretty disappointed.
I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing an issue with your Garmin Index Scale. Please reach out to support.garmin.com where you'll find many FAQ's and video's on the functions of the device. As well, if you're still experiencing an issue you can reach out directly to a product support associate from that link for assistance.

Excellent when the desire is to have more detail on your fitness level. Reading the body fat measurement can provide greater motivation (ha ha).
Overcomplicates itself, not there when you need it

Over complicates the whole process doing a simple thing. Smart features are nice but annoying when they try to force it on you do a simple task. Just adding a different user is an annoying and long process. And when you actually do want to use it wants to update. So if youre in a hurry good luck. It’s expensive for what it actually does, you probably can get more bang for your buck with a scale that doesnt overcomplicate itself in my opinion

I can’t get my scale to turn on easily. Stepping on it doesn’t work. I have to lift it lightly with my foot and drop it on the floor to wake it up. For the price, it should be easier!
