We have tried various types of bases and holders for our Garmins. This is by far the best. the weighted base stays in place and moves easily from car to car.

I prefer non window applied GPS mounts and bought this for our Garmin nuvi65LM and it works great. My van has an irregular dash surface so this non rigid mount was exactly what I needed. Did not have to do any hard braking or steering so I don't know how well it will do in those situations. I do know that it held my gps right where I wanted it to be without slipping or moving on my last trip from interstate to city streets. Great product for my type of driving.

This product solved the problem of how to secure the GPS in my wife’s car. The suction cup holders always came loose in hot weather, But the Garmin with it’s friction and weighted design has never fallen off since I bought it. I purposely tried cornering fast to try to dislodge it and it never moved! Excellent product Garmin!

This mount was perfect! Make the GPS unit so much easier to reach with it not being mounted to the windshield especially when driving a larger vehicle.

I wanted something that would safely hold my Garmin GPS. The suction cup holder tends to fall off the windshield. This does the job perfectly.

Fits great on any car dash curves when I rent any car. Never shifts or move when turning. Top post connect to GPS and bottom weight can be taken off by sliding and pressing down the tab for traveling in backpack or suitcase. I purchase this as a gift. I have my own many years ago and still working fine.

I never thought that this would be so awesomely sturdy on the dash. It is a must for GPS placement, take-down when not in use, and portable.

if you want portable holder that is adaptable this is the best for Garmin gps units does not move stays where you place it.

This product was ideal for use with my Garmin. My suction window mount kept falling off, bt this dash mount is very stable and easy to use.

Has been very sturdy. Purchased unit after finding out that numerous states I was traveling from does not allow windshield mounts. I placed unit on dash and was still not sure about it staying on but was pleasantly surprised during a 1500 mile trip that it did not move even when making sharp turns off of the interstate. I also tested the unit prior to the trip and intended to make it move and it still remained in place.

The factory mount would not hold. No worries. This Garmin non window mount is the answer. Seriously it holds it position on on the dash. I have a Jeep and go off road frequently and not once did it move. Easy to break down and hide for added security. Plus no window rings either. Great product.

I got tired of my suction cup falling off my windshield. This dash mount works (assuming you're not trying to run a motocross).

Very good and very sturdy. Had suction type before that was a real pain and well never get that kind again.

The suction cup holder which came with my Garmin GPS unit never held on my windshield for more than 30 minutes; the unit would then fall onto my dashboard and/or me. This vehicle mount is terrific in holding the GPS unit and preventing the unit from blocking my view through the windshield. I have purchased another one for my friend, who had the same problem I had with the suction cup mount.

I tried to use a suction mount on the dash of my new-to-me Lexus RX-350. It damaged the dash. I tried a weighted mount but it slid around on the dash so it was unacceptable.Then I found this weighted base vehicle mount. It is just right. The flexible weighted feet conform to the curves of the dash and have a gripping surface. It stays put. It is easy to pull off the dash when I'm parked and replace when I am ready to go again. A great find. Note: it is a Garmin product for Garmin GPS.

I like that the gps hooks on pretty easy. It also stays on the dashboard or wherever I set it very good.

it is so much easier to use & you don't have to worry about the gps falling out when the suction cup would come loose.

This is a great stand for the Garmin. It stays in place on my dash and gives easy access to the Garmin. Very pleased
