I would recommend this to anyone who uses the Garmin. It keeps the Garmin in place and does not obstruct vision while driving.

Previously had a Garmin and used the windshield mount that comes with the unit. This new dash mount was a spur of the moment buy and I haven't been sorry. Have used it on the dashboard in my Honda Civic and on the dashboard of our Nissan Murano and the placement works fine. It is a nice add on for my new Garmin.

The base is well balanced so it will not shift while driving. It works with my Garmin seamlessly with a a satisfying click. It swivels easily.

Just perfect for use on dashboard and also very comfortable on lap when setting up

I purchased this Garmin mount pad after tiring of the window mount losing adhesion. This weighted mount holds my Nuvi system in an easy to view but outside of the line of sight place on my dash, perfect for getting around town or heading out of the city. Great addition to your Garmin Nuvi navigation system.

At first it blocked the dash cam but then I realized I just needed to flip the clip over. Works great now

Of all the GPS holders, mounts, and whatever you want to call them. I tried a few and he BEST was this ugly looking pad! It holds my 61 in place with no movement and be adjusted without worrying about knocking it off the windshield. Ugly, yes......BUT IT WORKS!!!!!

Great sturdy stand for GPS and fits great on dashboard !

Used this to mount a new Garmin - nuvi 2597LMT 5" GPS. Does what it is meant to do. It is a great alternative to the windshield mount. It does not move, even on rough roads and sudden stops. Very happy to get this mount.

This mount works well and does not slide around like I was worried it would. This is a better way to keep your mount on the dash because the one that sticks to the window falls off especially when there is a weather change. My last GPS got broke that way.

This little mouse is perfect for laptop use. Installed in just a couple of minutes and works great. Love the price, too!

I love the mount for my Garmin gps. I purchased it because I know the glass suction holders be falling off of the windshield when drivers be hitting bumps. I don’t have that problem with this mount sitting on my dashboard.

My original GPS had a charger and dash mount attached, but every time I'd get into the car for a drive the directions were difficult and the video screen would eventually fall off. So I purchased this GPS mount for the dashboard and no more drops. It works great... I'd do it again!

We have had Garmins for 5 plus years and we have never been happy with the traditional suction mounts that come with the GPS. Our vehicle has a very steep windshield and it seemed to fall off every trip we took. This mounts easily and stays put on the dash.

This unit does what it supposed to do. It clips in place which is way better than the stock no slip that came with the Garmin 5. The suction cup system is really useless so this takes care of all those issues. You can tilt and turn the garmin easily so anyone can see it

This works much better than the windshield version with the suction cups that kept falling off my windshield. The only thing I would change about it is the higher corners make it a little difficult to move the GPS around.

this does the job that is was designed to do. supports gps and does not let it slide around. just a great product.

Got the new 7" Garmin gps and knew from previous experience that windshield mounts will intermittently fall off even with smaller gps units. Of course it depends upon how your vehicle's dash is regarding size, shape, and slope. Mine has an area that is level and big enough right above the information/radio console to adequately place it. It was easy to assemble and has a locking mechanism that secures the gps from detaching. Taking hard corners or slamming on the brakes hasn't phased it. It's remained in place. However, something I absolutely love about it is the theft protection. Obviously a big beautiful 7" Garmin hanging from the windshield is tempting to be broken into and stolen. With this and very little effort, all I have to do is pick it up (gps and mount) with one hand and lay it in the floor out of site. And I can do this with ease each time I stop to run into a store. Peace of mind!
