I just used this on vacation instead of the suction cup that comes with the GPS. It has some definite weight to it and it stays in place on the dash. I think it is worth the weight to carry along on a trip

It holds the Garmin tight and allows you to view and drive in a safe location on the dash.

I was looking for a product that would hold my GPS on the dashboard and this works great.

I purchased this for my second gps system . I’m really impressed with this the way it stays in place no matter how I turn the vehicle. I highly recommend it to anyone needing a stable mount for not just a gps but a phone too.

This vehicle mount works flawlessly, does not mark up my dashboard nor do I have to deal with those nasty rings on my windshield. It fits nicely into my center console and easy to set up. My wife uses it all the time and finds it the best mount she's used as well.

For those that don't like the clumsy looking windshield mount, this is a nice alternative. Works nicely on the center console and moves easily. The right amount of "counterweight" to hold the unit in place. Interestingly, Best Buy charges more than retail for this item...I wish I could.

This works very well with the Garmin - Drive 52, 5" GPS that I purchased with it. So much easier and much more convenient that trying to attach it to the windshield. Buy this accessory, you will be glad you did.

I got one of these for my gf and she loved it, so i bought another. My old GPS was attached to my windshield and was constantly overheating. Now it is very easy to set up and take down without trying to get it to stick to the windshield. It also does not block my view while driving.

This unit is rugged, It works as designed, it stays where placed even in bumpy terrain.

New company vehicle did not have a GPS. Have never had much luck with mounts the ones on windows lose suction he dash mounts fall etc. This on is heavy enough to stay in place and small enough not to obstruct dashboard.

My Garmin GPS fits well and is adjustable. The base is heavy and is durable and well made. When placed on the dashboard It doesn't move during normal driving.

Due to our previous experience with this product, we purchased this for our grandson.

This mount for my Garmin is perfect. It is very stable, I don't have to worry about it falling off my dashboard. It stores easily with the Garmin in the center console or glove box. I'd be lost, literally, without it.

It's basically a sandbag with a rubberized bottom. Heavy enough to not move, it infinitely adjusts to any dashboard. I travel all the time and take it with me, no issues with any vehicle I have rented.

If you move your navigation device between vehicles this is a perfect solution. It sits stably on your dashboard whether or not your dashboard is flat. No need to have something permanently stuck to your dashboard.

Love this mount for my full size van. This is the second one I've purchased (only because I loaned out my first one, and still haven't gotten it back!). Mount stays put on van's dashboard within easy reach of both the driver and front seat passenger.
