After going through various types and styles of window mounts and base mounts, it nice to have one that will not pop off from the heat. it covers easily with a hat to deter thieves and I have had no issues with this product. At first I was against a semi permanent mount but now I am glad I got it for its reliability.

Fits my needs. Better then sticking it to the window with suction cup. Heavy enough that it doesn't slide around on the dashboard.

Cruising around Phoenix is a great test bed for this mount. It hasn't lost control under extreme maneuvers or sudden acceleration/deceleration. Also, the GPS was easily attached to the mount and has zero deflection in tight turns or turbulent conditions. I'm very satisfied with this GPS mounts performance!

This beanbag style Garmin GPS Mount is by far the best style mount. It stays in place through all types of road conditions and fits most any vehicle with a dashboard. As an insurance agent, I use this to mount my GPS to take me to all types of road conditions. Highways, two tracks, construction sites, farm land, etc... You must keep your dashboard clear of dust for it to work best and keep its place. It works well in Lexus sedans, Buick sedans, Mazda sedans, Volvo sedans, Honda Fit & Honda SUVs. It even works well with '77 Corvette although the windshild angle is steep. I've also set it on the console of the vette where it works just as well as it easily allows you to adjust angle of the GPS screen for easy viewing.

Works very well: is weighted and flexible with non-skid feet. And the Garmin is positioned in a lower profile for easier viewing. No more Garmin falling off the window due to cold weather. With this mount the Garmin is easy to remove from dashboard as an assembly to hide when the car is parked.

This is my second one that bought the first one was mine . This one I bought for my wife so she would have something easy to just remove bought for my wife so she would have something easy remove Without disconnecting the Garmin

I do not like mounting my GPS to the windshield both because of its relative location as well as the end result being sooner or later the suction fails and the GPS falls off. I have had several different "bean-bag" styled bases, but this one works the best. One advantage to this one is that most dash mounts utilize the GPS' suction cup to attach it, which still leaves the problem of eventual failure. This base supplies its own shaft and ball mount - no suction cup involved! Also, it features a good range of adjustment and the base is flexible enough to work with a great number of dashboard configurations.

Using standard Garmin mounting units that came with my GPS was really great when you have a slick mounting surface. This non-skid unit sets well in the change rest on the dashboard and popping the GPS out of the mount to hide it from the sun & potential damage is really eazy.

After purchasing 3 of the old suction cup Garmin GPS devices I was fed up. Did not last in the Fl Heat. This device hold the GPS in perfect spot and never gives even with the top down going max speeds on highway. Love it. Price was excellent.

Trying to find a way to put my GPS on the dash in my RV has been a trying experience. I have used several different kinds that stick on the window, but the GPS was either in the way or it wouldn't stay in place. This product is the answer to my prolem and it works great!

For those of us who still use our Garmin GPS, this is a wonderful accessory. It stays on the dashboard without slipping. I sometimes prefer my GPS to using my phone. This holder assures me my Garmin is on the dash where I need to read it.

This base is excellent. Unlike the window attachment accessory which tends to come off, this is very stable. It can be used in any car dahsboard; and provides more versatility. We have been using it for about a couple of months, and have been very pleased with it.

The great thing about this mount is that it stays in place. The one we had before was always sliding off the dash and crashing into my leg. It appears to be well made and so far I am very happy with it.

I bought this while on vacation to hold my GPS while driving my girlfriend's car. I was really happy with how easy it was to install and how well it did the job. I would recommend it if you need to replace your suction cup holder.

I bought this so my wife could enter or alter the route on the passenger side of the car dash. It holds it solid to the dash and the GPS can be removed with one hand to enter info. She loves it!

This GPS mount works perfect in my Camry. The bottom is rubbery and stays where it should even with hard breaking. I like that there is no suction or glue material so it does not damage my dash at all. It does its job very well. I am impressed with this GPS mount. The only thing I do not like is that it is a bit expensive for a GPS mount. But I got a great deal on sale at bestbuy.com. I don't know if I would pay full price for this unit. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.

This Garmin mount is great!. I use my GPS a lot and goes to different area. This mount allow me to easily hide my GPS. Its also help me see my GPS easily and stayed in placed as I am driving.

This sits on the dash very stable and holds the GPS no problem. The window suction cups always let go in the summer heat here. This is a great alternative and makes it real easy to move between vehicles. Definitely recommend

This vehicle mount allows me to set the Garmin nuviCam LMTHD 6" GPS on vehicle dash. Had it for about two months and it's done a good job keeping the GPS unit where it's supposed to be and also allows for easy removal of the GPS unit as needed.
