I needed someplace other than on the windshield of the car to place my GSP and this gripper is just the thing for the dash board...I can remove the unit it holds when I leave the car....in order to keep suspecting eyes from stealing my GSP

After trying many different ways to anchor my GPS, I finally found the best one! Most are anchored with suction cups that eventually give way because of the sun - the way this one is weighted on the bottom, it doesn't move an inch! Great product!

This is the 3rd GPS holder I've tried in a year, and by far the best. My GPS has not come loose not fallen once from the dashboard. Great product!

The mount holds the GPS in place even if you corner fast. It is much better than the suction cups.

The perfect addition to my Garmin. I can swap from car to car as needed without having to use the suction cup mount. Money well spent in my opinion.

This is the second one this user has purchased. It is heavy and durable and keeps the GPS stable on the dash when driving. It is the perfect mount to use in States where window mounting is not legal. It is better than a suction mount which can come lose and leave circle marks on the windshield. It also makes it easy to set the GPS on the floor when the car is parked so that it is not obviously on display while one is away. The price is very reasonable.

I'm short, and I need something steady to put on my car, so I can see easy. This work perfect!

I purchased two vehicle mounts with the intent of keeping the one that best met my needs. Honestly, I hoped the other one would but it didn't. This mount holds the GPS firmly on the dash and feels much heavier and more stable than the other - nicer looking - one I had purchased. So, if better holding power is more important to you than just the appearance, then I recommend this mount.

This dashboard mount provides a solid and secure grip for my new Garmin 51. It leaves no mark on the dash and can easily be moved onto the passenger carpet for security when needed. I could not be more pleased.

This by far is the best method of displaying and holding your GPS unit. I have purchased another one of these a few years ago and needed another unit. It is sturdy and keeps the unit in place and doesn't leave your window with a ring.

I decided on this beanbag mount because I don't like the obstruction of a windshield mount. This works great because it fits any dash configuration (and some of them are shaped plenty weird) and it's heavy enough to stay where you put it. It's very easy to install the GPS unit on it and also easy to take it off. It's completely portable from vehicle to vehicle.

This vehicle mount works extremely well! It’s less obtrusive and obstructing than a window mount. The weights and non-slip surface keep your Garmin in place, without slipping or moving. Great product!

I was unsure about this product but after I got it I decided it was a must have for my larger 7" GPS. It beats trying to keep a suction device attached. This is my 3rd GPS so I do have experience with mounting apparatus's.

This is the best. No more worries of the GPS falling off the windshield. I actually purchased a new GPS so I could have a more secure way of using the GPS. Can't go wrong with this item, I got this one for my honey.

This holds my gps in place as I make sharp turns, quick stops or starts. The sun does bleach out the black color as it did on my other base. Can use black shoe polish to refresh color. Good product.

got this for my phone, its better then the suction cups. it never falls or moves.

I bought this to replace the original Garmin suction cup holder that would not stay on the windshield. It has enough weight to hold it in place on my dash. No vibration or movement. Just remember to push the locking lever.

This works excellent with our large Garmin GPS unit. I have been searching for an AC-vent mount to work with the GPS unit, but none were large enough to handle the unit. I tried several just to return them all. This wasn't exactly what I wanted as I wanted the GPS unit a little lower - not blocking the windshield. I tried this as I needed something to hold the GPS unit in place. What is great is this works in all of our vehicles and the GPS unit doesn't move when you make right and left turns. I am ver pleased with this and it doesn't block the windshield like I thought.

Wished I had purchased this with my first gps 20 years ago. Sorry I waited so long & wasted so much money on dashboard/ windshield mounts that always put the GPS on the floor under my feet at the worst time possible. Love it.

This mount is worth the extra money that it costs. I became frustrated when my suction gizmo that attaches directly to the window started falling off when the temperature dipped so I started looking for an alternative. That was when I discovered the Garmin GPS mount. I have owned this device for almost two years and it has never failed to keep my GPS firmly in place. Get one - you won't regret it.
