    I left my Garmin charger and bracket in a rental car, never to be seen again. When I went shopping for a replacement, I balked at the price difference between the universal chargers and the Garmin branded ones, so I picked up the cheap solution. BIG MISTAKE. For the two universal chargers I tried to use, the Garmin device always treated them as I was connecting via USB/computer and therefore took FOREVER to boot up. Also, one of the universal chargers had an extremely poor connector that was always shaking loose...so the device would then boot up again when it reconnected. The price difference is worth avoiding all this hassle, so I returned the universal charger and went with the Garmin one. Smooth sailing and my Garmin is once again a pleasure to use!

    It fit conveniently in my lighter in the car and did not prevent me from put things in hte cup holder that it was sort of covering. a really good product.

    Not a big deal... just plug in and go. The first car charger cord that came with the Garmin had a short in it. Then it finally stopped working altogether. Glad these are available to purchase separately. One size/type fits lots of different units.

    Best Buy only had this cord as a replacement for my TomTom ONE's charger, which blew. As I am currently away from home, I needed this cord as an emergency, to get home. It's doing it's job.
