I upgraded from a Fitbit Versa because I needed sport activities that were not included in the Versa. I like the multiple facets of the watch and the app is pretty amazing!!!! The watch tracks by GPS automatically, sleep, breathing, event tells me when I'm stressed and requests that I stop to breath as well as reminding me to get up and move. When I complete an activity, it even shows me a map of my course. Still need to learn how to switch from one activity to another; run to walk for example. I like that the app measures my sleep BUT I think it needs tweaking. I know it has measured my wake up time as later than when I actually wake up. The Versa was much better at that. I WAS disappointed that Best Buy did not have the Rose Gold option but apparently the Rose Gold can only be ordered. I didn't want to use my watch and then return it when the Rose Gold came in. That part was a real bummer. The fact that I couldn't get the Rose Gold wasn't available immediately and the sleep tracking mode is a little off is the only reason for a 4 star. Otherwise, I love it!

Got this for my husband for his birthday. This is a man that is so NOT tech savvy (still has a flip phone), and he loves it. He's actually monitoring his steps, etc. now. Only wish I could have two separate accounts (I have a Fenix 5S) on my phone so he can see his progress. Great watch

I picked up one of these for my dad and myself and they are great! It’s a game for us now to see who can be more active during the day. I have an iPhone and is syncs up with my calls and messages but I can’t answer from the watch which I didn’t need to. It’s stylish and fun.

Great looking, good features, unreliable GPS. Purchased in December and now in May it won't consistently find GPS. End up standing around waiting to start run and sometimes it just never works. Scheduling service now. Disappointed.

Love this tracker. I've had many fitbits in the past and each one came with problems. So far I have had 0 problems with my Garmin and love the features of this tracker more than the others I've owned. Great battery life, and the app is very user friendly. Will buy another Garmin product in the future.

I was on the fence of what to get to replace my Fitbit. I like this better and glad I go it. The down fall is the screen display is fast. Trying to figure out how to make it display longer. Other then that super easy to use! Wish there were more band options.

Bought this as a gift for my wife. Excellent for health and wellness tracking. Well constructed, good size. The band has a nice texture. One thing to be aware is the back of watch does flash red/green light and its pretty bright when wearing to sleep at night.

Bought the Galaxy Active 2 and had problems with it playing music. Got another Galaxy and the GPS wouldn't work. Payed a little extra for the Garmin and it works flawlessly. Love this watch.

My Vivoactive HR died on me, so I had to find a new watch and am pleased with the Venu. The positives far outweigh the negatives. The display is bright, big, and easy to read. The watch has taken a couple of beatings and has held up just fine. I love the updated exercises. I like the idea of adding sets to the strength training; however, the counting of the reps can be suspect at times and of course does not count reps when doing legs. However, with the updated GPS, I feel like my steps and distance are far more accurate then with the HR. I also like the fact that you can play music on this, which is great when working in the yard. I have swam with the watch and not had any issues. It connected to my phone easily. I am not too crazy about the display going black and having to flick my wrist just to see the time; it is either that or charge the battery more often. But that is a minor thing compared to the bells and whistles on this. Overall I think you would be satisfied if you purchased this.

The watch is awesome, works smooth. Sleep is not 100% accurate but that's stated so no problem. Keeping my stress in check which helps alot, suggest breathing exercises too. Would 100% recommend for a laidback to high fit person

Awesome battery life and screen. I was determining between this or the Samsung Watch 4. Went with the Venu due to the 5+ days of battery life and the recharge is only 20-30mins to get full charge. Great for activity recording too.

I have really enjoyed this watch! Compared to the Apple Watch I had prior, I would recommend the Garmin. Battery life is the best. The only thing that would make it better would be text response and more options for bands.

Once you get use to it it's pretty easy to navigate but it still isn't the best "user" friendly watches. I love the battery life! We have the samsung s3 frontier as well but we might buy another garmin venu for sure when it dies! It's been almost 2 months of owning it!

Great display, the watch really looks nice compared to Forerunner 230. I really like Garmin products, this watch looks nice enough for the office, but is great for casual weekend. The tracking and workouts are great. And it is very light, so I barely notice it.

Bought it to train for and run my Ironman. Battery life does pretty well, ladys a few days. It lasted with the Run and Bike app with GPS the whole Ironman. Needs an open water function though

Functions extremely well. Love all the features. It does everything I want and nothing I don’t. The only thing that I don’t like is that it does not feel quality. It feels very plastic-like and light.

Garmin Venu works great. Previously I was always a Fitbit user. This was an easy change and I’m happy I moved to Garmin. Overall looks nice for dressed up occasions or wearing for working out. Does the job.

Love my Venu. Super easy to set up and it captures all my pertinent information flawlessly. The black and gold combination looks classic and more of a dress up feel. The display is nice and bright and easy to read.

I’ve had this Garmin a little over a year and I love it! I had to upgrade from my Apple Watch after it shattered, and I expected to get another Apple Watch. However I spend a lot of time weightlifting and wanted a watch that was more effective at tracking my workouts. I would recommend the Garmin Watch to anyone who works out. The user interface isn’t as nice as apple, but it does a lot more and is more reliable for long term use. It’s also waterproof instead of water resistant! Overall would buy again!
