    The VIRB cradle mount appears to be a bit fragile where the teeth meet the camera, and can be accidently opened. The replacement mount should have been made tougher. A second mount is recommended where you will be switching the unit quickly between different types of mounts like the helmet to a tripod to a tube mount.
