Customers are saying

Customers recognize the vívofit 2 Activity Tracker's exceptional battery life and ease of use as significant advantages. Many appreciate its water resistance and sleep tracking capabilities, while some find the syncing process challenging and express a desire for a heart rate monitor. The device's size and clasp have also received mixed feedback. Overall, the positive aspects of battery life and ease of use appear to outweigh the concerns regarding syncing and the lack of a heart rate monitor for many users.

I bought this for my very petite 9 year old because it came with two bands and the smaller band fits her just fine. She was wanting a tracker to "compete" with me and her older brother. I also liked the way this one clasps, it won't fall off her. We went with this over the kids tracker so we could be "friends" within the app and participate in challenges together. It's been working out great.

the Vivofit2 does not record activity accurately. My activity at the gym does not record steps. I was told my Garmin support, it is based more on arm movement than steps. I am thinking about returning it. It does not meet my expectations.

Thank you for your review. The Garmin Customer Care agent is correct as this is a wrist-based activity tracker and is designed to provide the user with an overall general view of their daily activity. However, you can pair a Garmin Heart Rate Monitor (HRM) with your vívofit 2 to provide more detail about the recorded activity.

Regarding your vívofit 2 not recording the activity accurately, we would encourage you to visit the Garmin FAQ link below to provide more information on why the device may not record steps during a workout.

Bought this for my 8 year old daughter for her birthday. She loves it. Didnt go with a fitbit due to the way it clasped together...vivofit securly locks so she cant lose it. Can sync with a phone and displays on her wrist, which she loves. Step count is a tiny bit off, but from what I have read they all are! For the price and design you can not go wrong!

I bought this activity tracker for my daughter for Christmas. I had originally bought her the vivo fit jr. but the band was too small for her and the age range only went to nine. I'm not sure if it's the same price, I bought it for around $60. It was a good alternative.
