Customers have good things to say about the Vivofit 3's battery life, ease of use, and its ability to track steps and sleep. Many appreciate its water resistance and the accuracy of its tracking features. However, some customers mentioned the small screen size and occasional issues with the band's durability as drawbacks. A few also noted challenges with syncing the device and the lack of a built-in heart rate monitor.

The vivofit3 is water resistant, you can wear it all day long, showering, at the beach and in the rain. Battery lasts as long as a year. It syncs with my fitnesspal app.

Got one for my wife as I really like my Vivofit 2. The re-oriented screen is more natural to look at in wrist but makes display smaller and a little more difficult to read.
Also they band locking mechanism is essentially the same as the Vivofit 2, which is a bit of a pain to put in.
The adaptive goal feature is really nice as it detects your activity level and gives you reasonable goals.
Other features are either very similar or unchanged from Vivofit 2, which for me is a good thing.

Watch functions okay, band is terrible

Watch functions are fine. Band is awful design, unless maybe if you have a large arm. have to slide band up arm for a tight fit but it slips constantly and then part of the band slides. Face is small by design and is hard to read unless you have good close vision. Called Garmin support that was helpful and is sending two stretch bands that hopefully will work better. Support contact was a good experience. Bought this fitness watch for 1 yr battery life to avoid having to charge it.

My son loves his fitbit. Being able to keep track of his steps is a great way to let him see just how active he is during each day. The best part to him is that it is a watch and a step tracker thaat he never has to take off since it is waterproof.

I use my Garmain Vivofit in the pool during Water .Aerobics
every week. It has a clear and readable display of time,
Number of steps you do, also keep records of your
Sleeping habits. It also has an app for you to store all your info.
It was reasonably priced too.

The battery should last a year. Better than charging every week. Also works when wet. Using the strap locking knob takes some getting use to.

Does everything first one did, then some. Liked first a lot. Battery died after 3 yrs, why get something else? Long battery life & waterproof. Never have to take it off. Connects easily to Garmin Connect. Love it.

I wore several Jawbone Up3 trackers for years but it was poorly made and the company is no longer making them. I decided to go with the Vivofit 3 as the reviews showed 4 and 5
stars and I am not the least bit disappointed. The only time I questioned its accuracy as it counted
some steps when I really wasn’t
active.(washing my face or bathing) I read in the manual to place the tracker on my non dominant wrist and
the problem has been corrected. I
love the fact that this does not have to be charged and is made well unlike my other tracker. It syncs easily and I
also like the move bar. It’s small and
not a bulky tracker on your wrist. Overall, I have had it for about a month and would highly recommend this tracker

This is my 3rd Garmin. I like the ease of use and the fact that no charging is needed Good improvements on each new one I purchase. Set up was very easy. Connect app lost no previous data. I'm a happy customer.

I like how the clock is vertical rather than horizontal. It feels more like a watch. Easy to sync. I love the ability to see steps as well as intensity minutes of my workout as I am actually doing the workout.

I purchased for my parents as late Christmas gifts. Easy setup, easy controls and use. Both parents are moving more and enjoying the 'tech' as they compete on steps/activities each day. Good buy.

My wife had the first Vivofit and loved it until the numbers started to go out 3 years later. She did not have to change the batter until 2 years after using it daily. the new version is even better with the back light.
