Many appreciate its water resistance and the accuracy of its tracking features. However, some customers mentioned the small screen size and occasional issues with the band's durability as drawbacks. A few also noted challenges with syncing the device and the lack of a built-in heart rate monitor.

I needed a waterproof step tracker for my 7 yr old daughter after her Fitbit took a shower with her, and there aren't many options, especially for such a little wrist! The Vivofit 3 tracks steps a bit differently than the Fitbit, I'm not sure which is more accurate, but my daughter went from averaging 12k steps a day to 7k. Kind of strange for such a bit difference. Overall it's held up well to the pool and overall abuse of a 7 yr old so I can't complain!

Haven't tried this particular one yet but I had the Vivofit 3 in camouflage and lost it, it must have come off my wrist somewhere. I loved it. After I lost it I did buy the Fitbit with heart monitor. The downside to that one is you have to charge it and you don't have to worry about that with the Vivofit. I just wish they would come out with the buckle closure on it so it doesn't come off unless you take it off.

I was given this as a gift and I couldn't be happier with it. Not only does it track my steps but it also logs my sleep patterns & the number of calories I burn.

I really like my Garmin device. I wish I had gotten the one with a heart monitor and more functions. I have only had a one time difficulty in uploading information that was resolved with updating the app. I purchased it so I could use it in water, but have had difficulty figuring out how to document water aerobics vs. walking activity. Not even the representative for. Best Buy could figure it out. Otherwise no complaints.

The pro's are the battery life vs. recharging and that it's water resistant. The con would be that it does not fit small wrists even on the lowest band setting.

I purchased the vivofit 3 for my mother as I have become obsessed with my Vivofit2. The watch is great for her needs. She also loves being able to keep track of her steps and it has encouraged her to increase the amount she walks each day to meet her daily goals. I own the vivofit 2 and, honestly, I prefer the screen and read-out on the vivofit 2. However, for basic needs, the Vivofit 3 is great!

I love the band!! I read up and did my research before buying and so far, I'm very happy with my decision. I just needed something to keep me motivated and moving, and this was perfect. I love how soft the band is and that it's interchangeable. Also, I love that it's waterproof. Being a mom, you never know what your little one can get into, and I hate having to worry about water spilling or splashing on my things and breaking it. Another cool feature is that Garmin will automatically set a daily goal for me to reach, and I like that. It pushes me a little more each day.

Had a vivofit1, only reason I no longer use it is cause the battery died and the little plastic safety clip broke and no longer keeps the band on, instead of replacing the battery and band I decided to upgrade and get the vivofit3, backlit screen and a better band is what is the major improvements. Bluetooth is a lot faster as well. It's a small and lightweight band, i expect this thing to last me a good 3 years just like the vivofit1. Not to mention I only had the original battery in my old vivofit...12 month battery? Try almost 36✌️

The Vivofit fitness tracker doesn't need to be recharged and its waterproof so you can wear Vivofit in the shower... washing dishes... swimming never have to take it off except to give it a little cleaning once in a while...and the price was right

This unit lets me know when I have achieved my goal of steps for the day. It also allows me to set my own goal, but will set a goal based on past activilties if I do not choose to set a goal for myself. The only problem is that it shows when a goal has been reached, and then has to be reset to keep track of steps during the current exercise. It provides what I purchased it for.

My only complaint about this product is that in long distances it is not 100% accurate. However for a basic tracker at a lower price point it has been everything I had hoped it would be. Going on 5 months now and I have not experienced any technical difficulties. I like that I can review my sleep patters and use the Garmin App on my phone to view all of my data.
