We can compete on steps with the entire family. The reward system has improved behavior and decision making in the household as I can customize consequences and rewards to fit each kid. I love that you get send for a free band for my oldest as she has a bigger wrist.

The features seemed great, however, the band is not adjustable. It was way too small for her wrist. It has some stretch to it, but not much. We returned this.

Posted .Hi 7yroldmomok, Thank you for taking time to provide feedback on the vivofit jr. The vívofit jr. is designed to fit most 4-9 year olds. If the band does not fit comfortably there is an option in the vívofit jr. app to order a replacement band. Please use the following FAQ for more information: https://support.garmin.com/faqSearch/en-US/faq/content/9L9m58yJfK9kWTP8zWvjr7. There is also a helpful video that discussing the band sizing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izoXIlkFl6M. Getting a replacement band would allow your grandson to use the device comfortably. The vívofit jr. module will also fit into the vívofit 3 band, which offers a user adjustable band with a locking clasp. Thanks again for your review. -JFH

Upon opening this would fit maybe maybe up to a 5-6 year old. We were not able to try it in store as it was in secured packaging.

Its a christmas gift for my son who wanted a Fitbit like mine so we could challenge each other. From the reviews and the one I saw in the store, i think he will love it. I love the fact that its waterproof and can track chores. Gives him a little more independence and responsibility.

Helpful too,because he has a friend who has one like it in black. and he loves that. He is learning to tell time as well and it is great that it is battery-operated and does not need charging..

They absolutely loved it. Runs small for smaller kids but does come with a larger size too for thicker wrists. Great first time tracker for kids.

We've set up different chores and such that are worth different coin amounts. They can save their coins and cash them in for different prizes. It is much more useful and fun then just a plain ole step counter!
