The features on it are such that kids can easily relate, and they assist the user in reaching and/or even exceeding their goals for the day.

Wonderful product

Has several cool features to encourage kids to stay active and even helps them keep track of daily responsibilities and chores. Only downside is that while the product is made for ages 4 to 9, my 8 year old has maybe 6 months before the band is too tight. However, they do sell a larger XL kids band on the Garmin website and it's supposed to also fit into the adult vivofit bands.
