This is a great device for the kids. They can track the steps and use it as a timer for reading.

I bought this for my son's birthday because he really wanted a fitbit and this is a great alternative. It works well and he gets excited about earning coins for chores.

My son received this for Christmas and loves it! It was very easy to setup. I was concerned about the app being on my phone but it hasn’t been an issue. He is able to see the number of steps, number of active minutes, clock, etc on his device so he doesn’t need constantly be checking the app. There’s a timer feature that comes in handy for homework (timed reading and math). I highly recommend this!

Fun way to bet kids aware of their activity and I like that you can include chores

My son got this for Christmas last year.. He wears it all the time and loves it. He's always trying to beat his records and he enjoys all the little awards he gets for reaching his goals. Unfortunately it only lasted a year and then froze up.. this is the second one.. I'll let you know how long this one lasts for.

My son loves it! We bought this for his 9th birthday and he hasn't taken it off since. No reason to, since it's waterproof. He has really challenged himself to be more active to go beyond those 10,000 steps each day and to accomplish those special tasks/chores. He loves it and now my daughter has added it to her Birthday list. We will plan to buy her one for Christmas rather.

My kids love these! They got them as a Christmas gift and now compete with one another to see who can earn the most coins and get the most steps!

The tracker allows kids to be more aware of their own level of activity. The clever design is perfect for the children (especially boys) to wear and they think it is "cool" to wear something similar to what adults wear for their activities.

He makes his daily goal of 10,000 steps and when he's close he does extra exercise in order to reach it. He is 9. Fits his wrist nicely.

This product was for my 10 year old. We love how easy it is to use. It makes my daughter excited to get up and moving in order to reach the step goals that are set, as well complete the chores. We've built a reward system around the goals and chores. The device itself has the time on it, so it also doubles as a watch. Overall, it was a great buy.

my granddaughters favorite color is purple and was asking for an activity tracker for Christmas as several of her friends had one.

We bought this item as a gift for our daughter who is 7. She was very excited to receive it and one of the cooler features is the ability to award points for tasks around the house or chores. She can then "cash in" the points for rewards like staying up late, getting a treat, etc. It also obviously tracks her activity level and sleep patterns.

I bought this because my son insisted he never slept. I wanted to know if he had a sleeping problem or not. Turns out he sleeps the number of hours he should for his age, when he sleeps less it is obvious in his behavior. Love the vívofit jr, makes me feel better about my sons sleep and he is excited every morning to check the sleep time as welll.

The activity tracker would be great if my son actually wore it. He is almost 6 and lost interest pretty quickly. It is a good tracker for what it is and survived a trip in the toilet. I would have gave it 5 stars but there is no back light so it makes it hard to read sometimes.

... be warned, the band is SO SMALL. If your child is on the upper end of the age range or is anything other than super petite, be prepared to buy a different band. I was able to find compatible bands on Ebay, so I think it will all be ok. So I recommended it, but with that caveat.

My son loved the vivofit jr. and being able to check his steps, gain coins & rewards...However, the band was too small for him (he is 9 years old) and he ended up getting a rash from wearing it so we had to return it.

My son is really enjoying his Garmin Vívofit “Star Wars” watch—the goals tracking and games are his favorite features.

This is a great activity tracker and incentive to do chores as well. My daughter loves to try to beat her previous day's activity level and steps. I would highly recommend this to others. The bands are also easy to swap out. I found some that are more watch band type on Amazon that she loves to coordinate with her outfits.
