We bought this for our 10 year old daughter and she loves it! By far her favorite Christmas gift this year. She loves being able to track her activities and monitor it all using her IPad. Plus she is able to receive text messages which was a major bonus. Her friend received a Fitbit for Christmas and it doesn't do near as much as the Garmin. We haven't encountered anything negative about it.

The Garmin Vivosmart is a fantastic fitness tracker. It keeps track of my steps with incredible accuracy, and I love that it tells me to move if I've been sedentary for an hour. The sleep tracker is also very helpful.

Love this and all its functions and much smaller than the fitbit which I knew I wouldnt wear if larg..I forget I have this on until it buzzes me to move or I reached GOAL for the day. Would recommend this to everyone.

I like this watch that captures your steps, sleep, etc. Unfortunately the first one I had malfunctioned in about 7 mos but fortunately Best Buy covered it under the warranty & I got a new one. I hope I have better luck with this one. One thing that drives me a bit crazy is that Garmin, like other interactive web sites, changes things up constantly. AACK!! Guess it goes with the territory.

I love that this tracker also shows alerts for emails and texts. Sometimes I have a hard time getting it to sync but overall I really like all the features. Also its a nice size being that I have small wrists.

I got it for the fitness aspect but it turned out to be a boon when driving as I know who is calling or messaging without moving my hand or touching the phone or moving my eyes away from the road. Also when I have my phone on silent and placed it away from me, the band buzzes so I dont miss calls either. Have yet to try it for swimming. Doesn't work to track workouts.

The Garmin VivoSmart is a nice subtle wrist band that lets you keep track of your activities and steps. The only negative thing about it is that it counts your steps via arm movement so any activity you do, such as playing the guitar, will be counted as steps. I’ve swam over a mile with it on, it is great that you can have it track your water activities.

I was looking for a low profile fitness tracker that was easy to use and could link to My Fitness Pal. It's small, has a neat swipe to view feature and finds my phone! Loving it!

Picked up this as a gift for my wife. She requested a different model, but the sales person recommended this and showed me the options. Glad I made the switch, she loves it.

I really love the features this fitness tracker has. It has a timer that wakes you up in the morning. It also sends you notifications from your phone to your wrist. The only downside about it is when you go to tap on the bracelet, it sometimes doesn't come on. You have to hit it pretty hard...which is annoying. But over all, I like it.

I had a FitBit One and it I loved it, but when it was time to replace, I wanted to try something different. I love this device. I never have to take it off, except to charge it, and it doesn't seem to over calculate too often as far as counting steps just because my arm is moving. It does, sure...all wristbands will. But comparing this to my FitBit One on a treadmill (which is my primary source of walking/jogging), it seemed to actually under calculate compared to the FitBit. So any extra steps counted because of arm movement seems to be a wash at the end of the day. LOVE the notifications! I can turn my phone on silent when needed (dinner, movies, meeting, etc), but can still tell if a text/email/phone call needs to be addressed right away, without having to constantly pull my phone out and be disruptive. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is I wish I could actually get the 7 days of battery life it claims to have. I have the brightness set all the way on low, and I don't have it set for the display to turn on when I raise my arm, yet the longest I have even gotten on a charge was about 4.5 days. Not horrible, but I wish I could get a little longer. Despite that, I would absolutely recommend this device, and have!

I got this on sale and it works great. I can see my text from my Iphone and the controls are very easy to use. I like the fact that it gets mad at me when I sit for too long.

I love the fact that it is water resistant!! And I'm always on the move so this is perfect. Let's me know all of my steps, calories burned, and when I get a text message.

I still haven't had enough time to study this as well as I'd like but love that it is waterproof because I do water aerobics and zumba. It always reminds me when I reach goal and let's me know when to move. I have a sedentary job so that's good when I get into my computer for it to remind me. Overall, I like it just fine.

I've owned many fitness trackers but this is thee BEST!!! Goes days without needing charge. Let's me know I need to move. Tracks my sleep. And last but not least interacts with my smart phone so I can see my incoming calls and notifications! There are many more features I didn't get to post here. All I have to say is I Love it!!!!!!

I love my Vivosmart. It's comfortable and durable to wear all day. I'm not sure how accurate it is sometimes. I'll be in the middle of moving around and it vibrates telling me to move. I also have noticed that I'll be awake in the middle of the night and it does not register as being awake. A little frustrating, but I love that I can receive call, text and email notifications! I love this tracker and hope that they continue to make improvements and come out with new designs.

Chose vivofit because it is waterproof and I do some lap swimming. Only activity tracker I've found that specifically promises this. So far it's working fine in and out of pool. Better by far than the old tracker sold by weight watchers (made by Philips, a trusted brand also, which also was waterproof)

So I went from a FitBit Flex to this because I wanted something waterproof. It works great and all however the only issue is the band gets scuffed up pretty easily and unlike the FitBit you can't change bands. If this doesn't bother you and you want something completely waterproof, then go with this!

Must say, the product offers more than any other product in the market. Touch is very accurate and the product is completely water proof. Supporting application has definitely improved.
