Garmin vivosmart is a great product that is practical and smart. It monitors your steps, sleeping pattern and also has useful features such as displaying time, heart rate and text message notification. Better than most other similar products.

Instructions are non-existent or confusing. I found out how to use this by trial and error. I have had this for a month and still don't think that I am getting benefit of it's full potential.

Works well. Seems more reliable than my Fitbit was. Time will tell.

This us a great product, but the heart monitor should be built in.

Love Garmin products and this is included in the bunch, just one thing I could change it would be the display, how it is sideways...well can't have it all...Great though, I got it for hubby and he loves his garmin gadgets.

Replaced a lost Fitbit with the VivoSmart. Now all my GPS activity from my Garmin running watch is together with my steps. I also like the Bluetooth integration/notifications.

Good actuvity tracker. Good battery life, easy to use.

it does a great job of counting my steps and wakes me up easily in the mornings. I do like the jawbone up better for tracking my sleep. This one just tells you that you slept from the time you tell it to go to sleep and the time you tell it to wake up.

This was a great tracker for my husband. He wears it all the time. The only thing he wished differently on this tracker is for the heart rate monitor to be designed differently.

I wanted to like this but it has difficulties syncing and it isn't always accurate on steps ( if I'm at my desk reaching for items, it often counts it as a step )

For an activity tracker with a chest band, this one is probably fine. Being new in the market, I didn't realize that it needed a chest band to monitor your HR. Most of the products on the market that need a chest band do not make it easy for you to read that you need one. Abit deceiving, but they all seem to be like this.

I originally decided to buy the fitbit charge, after about a week that broke, returned it once and it broke again. Then decided to try out Garmin and i have had zero problems!

This is a good fitwatch, but I took it back because I wanted to know what was all the hype behind the Fitbit charge hr.

I hate to review this Garmin bad, because I had one for 3 months and it worked great. But it suddenly developed dead pixels and started having lots of issues staying connected to my bluetooth. I exchanged it for another one and this new one had dead pixels right out of the box! Therefor, I cannot recommend. I even read reviews beforehand that mentioned dead pixels but I was swayed by the positive reviews and the price. I do not recommend. (I ended up going with the Vivosmart HR and have had it for 2 months now and love it! More features, no connection issues and no dead pixels. And it has the heart rate monitor! Do yourself a favor and skip the Vivosmart and get the HR for a little more money)

Took some time to sync but it works perfectly. I charge it every 3-5 days. i wish it was more compatible with swimming.
