I love everything about this watch! It does everything from monitor steps, heart rate, running, cardio, notifies you of texts and phone calls...and it's completely waterproof. I wear it everyday to swim laps with. I highly recommend this watch.

I went into my fitness band/activity tracker purchase looking to spend less than $200, and ideally closer to $100. This band fell right in the middle, but i feel it's worth the extra money. I enjoy going on hikes, and the built in gps is very handy. My only real complaint is that the heart rate monitor tend to get off occasionally. This is usually fixed by taking the band off and putting it back on, but it's a minor annoyance. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, and I don't think there is another product that would perform as well at the price point.

Love my Garmin. Plus it’s water resistant unlike the Fitbit.

...Although not as good as the discontinued Microsoft Band 2. The Garmin line of wearables are more accurate than the FitBits - it records significantly less phantom steps. This particular tracker has a built-in HR sensor, but lacks a GPS. Overall for the price and it's smartwatch features, it's good enough compared to the MS Band 2 which offers significantly more. The profile is a little chunkier than I'd like, but the screen is better than the lower models. It's comfortable enough to wear and comes in some fun colors.

I bought this to replace my Forerunner 10. I wanted something with step counting also for work. This has the Glonass with GPS, so the GPS signal lock is fast. I returned it because it is really thick and felt like it was poking the back of my wrist too much. There is an issue that I didn't like too much. It doesn't count all steps. It has some sort of threshold before it starts counting. If I take a couple steps between the table and counter and then stay at the counter for a minute before moving, it doesn't count them.

this was a great gift for my wife - She loves the color. In addition, she is not very tech savvy and has already learned how to use it. The KEY features for selecting this model were the Heart Rate Monitor and it being Waterproof.

I am an airline pilot. I needed a fitness band to wear while I'm flying. For heart rate monitoring and the alarm function. Heart rate worked fine but many of the functions including the alarm, could only be accessed via the internet. Totally worthless to me. How do you set an alarm when you are camping or somewhere you can't access the internet? What genius thought this up?

Got as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend who's a runner - she loves it. It may not look as nice as the Fitbit but it operates smoother and has so many additional features. Definitely a great fitness watch for the value.

I love love love this fitness watch. It tracks everything that I needed. The time setting allows you to have two different views horizontal or vertical. I had it tied to my phone so I could see incoming calls and texts. I am however very hard on my watches and I hardly ever take them off. I shattered the screen on this watch. It has stayed intact and is still waterproof, but I can not see anything on the display. I have had the watch less than a year.

I love this little tracker. You can sync it to your cell phone to see texts and phone calls. It counts your steps, heart rate, sleep hours and so much more. Battery needs charging once a week.

I went with a Garmin over a Fitbit because I have a Garmin Edge for my bike and I like the tracking software it has. I also like the built in GPS so I don't have to have my phone with me to use the GPS functionality. The white on black when you are not tracking an activity is a little hard to read but it changes to black on white when you are tracking an activity and that is much easier to read. Other than that, it is pretty solid and the GPS signal seems to stay connected.

It took a few days to figure out how to set the interval. I enjoy my watch however it now constantly says my Heart Rate is too low or high. I know it's off and I can't figure out how to fix it.

I received this as a Mother's Day gift. I loved the idea of it. Pros: had great gps for walking trails and know how far you walked, kept great calorie count, let me know when I was getting a call, told me when I had sat to long. Cons: can be swam with but doesn't keep up with what you swam, heart monitor not to accurate. I ended up taking back and buying the vivoactive HR
