best fitness tracker for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the second Garmin fitness watch I have owned and must say I'm very impressed. It holds a charge for about a week and a half even synced to my iPhone and is quick to charge back up. Its also extremely accurate and simple to use. Love it!

Works great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tried two different HRM belts, neither functioned for aquatic exercise. This product works in the water very well. Could it be better? Sure, bit it gives me a ballpark and that's all I need. Love that I could get it in purple, too.

Awesome fitness tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an awesome fitness tracker that has ample battery life and great functionality for runners. The GPS is a must have as sometimes your cadence may be uneven and totally throws off your distance (especially if you run while pushing a stroller). I like the battery life, but would over the moon about this if the battery life was a day or 2 longer. No runs put it 4 days. A couple runs and you're at 3 days quickly.

Great watch for small wrists and price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only part I don't like about this watch is that in order to see seconds I have to go into activity mode. Other than that it is a great watch. I was going to go with the Garmin vivosmart hr or hr+ but, when I tried it on, my wrist was way too small looking for the watch. It looked like a little kid trying to be a big kid. This watch does most of what the vivosmart hr+ does without the bigger screen and ability to add apps to it and is one of the few small watches that has GPS in it too.

Works well but wish it was cuter
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Garmin Vivosmart HR+ to use while training for a marathon. The main reason for purchase was so that I could use for GPS tracking without needed to carry my phone with me on long runs. It works well for that purpose, and I also wear most days to track steps, etc. My only wish is that it was more attractive. With so many fitness trackers on the market, it's hard to find one for women that is GPS enabled and also not an eye-sore. But until then, this one does the trick!

Great physical monitor! (and watch)
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had major surgery and purchased the vivosmart HR+ Activity Tracker + Heart Rate in hopes of being able to track my activity levels, amount of sleep, and heart rate trends. I was extremely happy with the level of detail available through the Connect (Garmin) App. Not only could I track and review all of the items I wanted, but the amount of information and graphic depiction was phenomenal! In addition to simply tracking my sleep, but I can see how much time I spent in deep/light sleep and how often I wake and or moved around at night. I can also actively monitor my heart rate zone when exercising, which provides additional motivation to stay in the zone I'm targeting.

Lacks WOW factor. Decently utilitarian
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's better than other Garmins that I've had and better than similar Nike and Fitbit that I've had. Alerts can be a bit annoying from iPhone and not sure how to better configure. Activity tracker good for basics, but this model doesn't seem to have any golf functionality although you can "download" courses in the app. A bit thick for dress shirts. Overall, OK and decent activity if familiar with Garmin app. Reasonable value for the price.

Fantastic Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a Christmas Present for my wife. Lots of research went into choosing this model, and so far it has exceeded both of our expectations. My wife loves the fact that she can read her text messages on it when they come in, and she can see who is calling without getting her phone out. The data link with her iPhone is seamless. GPS feature lets her see the path that she took for her walks. She only has to charge the battery about every 3rd day. One draw back, low battery warning could be better. Since she missed it once, and it died while she was at work. But now she charges it every 3rd day and the dead battery issue is alleviated by this work around.

Good product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product has everything I need for my workout routine. Calories, heart rate, steps, and staircases. I also like that the battery holds a charge for approximately five days.

Excellent Choice for Fitness + Heart tracking
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been wearing a step tracker for a couple years and really wanted to add the functionality of regular heart-rate tracking. After studying a number of choices the Garmin Vivofit HR+ looked like the one for me. In addition to satisfying those objectives consistently with easy use; the addition of GPS makes this a really outstanding unit. That allows the tracker to be much more valuable for activities other than just walking or running, making cycling or even routine "work" tracking available to you.

Perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This fitness tracker is exactly what I was looking for when I was deciding on one for my 9 year old daughter! I really like the gps feature for safety reasons and the HR feature is great as well! This has everything I wanted for her and more! Garmin represents quality and I'm glad I decided on this brand! I also got it for a steal on a price match so I got it at Best Buy for $110! Regular price was $179! So I'm beyond pleased with my purchase and as always Best Buy went above and beyond as they always do when I make a purchase! That is why I ALWAYS shop Best Buy!

Awesome activity monitor for runners
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The activity monitor has a lot of great features: having music controls, getting notifications from apps specified in the garmin connect app, and heart rate. The GPS is the main reason why I went for this over other activity trackers. It works perfectly, and it doesn't take very long for the GPS to locate you. However, one down side is the lack of features for non-runners.

Useful
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've gone through two garmins, switched over to the Microsoft Band 2, but am now back to another garmin. Huge advantages for me are the durable battery life, and the fact that it is waterproof. It doesn't have as many bells and whistles as the Band 2, but i also only have to charge it once a week vs. daily. If you want an accurate, long lasting fitness monitor, this one is for you

Great fitness tracker/smart watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the GPS upgrade, Calorie input is a little off, and I wish they would make the vivosmart HR+ flatter. All In all its a great fitness tracker/smartwatch. The connections I have thru Garmin are with people all over the world and love the fact that they challenge you in trying to run, bike, or walk the most miles in certain time frames. They always keep me moving! :))

Good fitness tracker, with a couple issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a few weeks of use, I'm generally happy with the Vivosmart HR+. It's dependable and has good battery life. The accuracy of the sleep tracking is improving (it was awful at first). There are still a couple small annoyances. First, if I pause the GPS tracking during a run, it sometimes turns itself off, even if the pause is brief. And when I use the auto-pause function, it sometimes pauses when I'm still moving (such as when I'm running down a flight of stairs). Second, it doesn't play nice with Windows Phone. I know, I'm one of the 12 people who still use a Windows Phone (Alcatel Idol 4s), but if you're one of the others, know that the Vivosmart HR+ won't sync with the Garmin Connect Mobile app on your phone. My phone is able to establish a bluetooth connection with the Vivosmart, and the Garmin app can see it, but it refuses to pair with it. I'm able to upload information from the Vivosmart to Garmin Connect online through my PC, but it would be much better to do it automatically through my phone. The only way I've been able to make it work is by uninstalling and reinstalling the app on my phone and resetting the Vivosmart, and then it stopped working the next time I restarted my phone. I'm guessing this works much better on Android or iPhone, but if you use Windows Phone this is an issue.

Nice Watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The watch works just fine. My heart has been acting up since I got a corticosteroid shot so it helps me keep an eye on my heart rate. It also helps me keep up with how well I am doing on exercise activities and number of steps. I would have given it a five if it did not think I was asleep when I lie down on the couch in the evenings. Also it is a bit big and clunky.

Not very accurate
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my husband for a Christmas present last year. He has worn it every day and uses the app on his smartphone. It says he climbed stairs when he did not (sometime 10 flights). We live in a flat area and have a one story house. The heart rate is usually wrong and the step counter is not very accurate. We bought it because it was waterproof. So far that seems to be the only thing that works as advertised.

Great Mid-level Activity Tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Vivosmart HR+ is the ideal activity tracker for ones who are already somewhat active and want to increase activity. It's great for tracking your steps and calories burned on a normal day so you can find areas where you can improve. I would definitely recommend this tracker. I also love that I don't have to worry about getting it wet.
