Depending on how it is used (screen brightness, amount of notifications, additional sensors), the vívosmart HR's internal battery can last up to 5 days on a full charge.
Currently, all Garmin fitness trackers which have a built in heart rate monitor require charging the battery. Other models, such as the vívofit, do not require charging but are not as robust feature wise.
