So far I am very pleased. The battery does not last as long as advertised but everything else is odor. I can also were this tracker in the pool. Yeah!

Great intro for smart workout watches.

This was a great intro watch for the price. She enjoys it very much and likes how light it is. It syncs very easily with your phone too.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really wanted to love it (upgraded from the regular Vivosmart and was looking forward to the new features- wrist-based HR monitoring, flights of stairs tracking, nicer interface, etc.) It was bulkier than the first generation Vivosmart but still seemed comfortable at first, but over time, it got more and more uncomfortable on my small female wrist. The deal breaker was that HR monitoring was only accurate when tracking resting / non-exercising HR. During exercise, it reported incorrect HR most of the time. I did a crazy intense one hour boot camp class and my Vivosmart HR reported that I burned 72 calories (and HR was only very slightly elevated). I followed ALL of Garmin's recommendations for accurate tracking but still had inconsistent and inaccurate readings.

Posted .I'm sorry to hear that you didn't have a great experience with the product like we would hope and expect! During exercises, it's important that the vívosmart HR not slide around on the wrist/arm. It would also need to remain free from dirt and water (sweat).

A Great Gift to my Old Friend!!

I am owning a product of my own & we both have Synced' our garmin accounts with my Son's help - now we both are competing against each other in a fun way!! Garmin is providing HR in addition to the steps count we take daily & also it monitors our sleep time which helps us in realizing if we get enough sleep for our current age / weight. Great Product!!

I wear it all day and night except for when it needs to be charged which it does rather quickly. It is light and is very comfortable. I like that it has some smart watch functionality in that I get to read my incoming messages and see incoming calls.

I like it but didn't realize I was going to have to charge it. That is kind of a pain. The vf2 battery lasted years so was more convenient. All in all I'm happy with it

Only issue is the heart rate doesn't always work when she's working out (Zumba or aerobic classes). Other than that, it's great for the ease of use connecting to her phone, counting steps, and counting flights of stairs.

Your next step is to go to youtube watch a short video on how to complete the setup follow the instructions on you tube.

None the less, it has good capabilities at the decent price point.

To follow up, Climbing stairs or running/walking on a grade of 8% or greater will trigger the Stairs Climbed Feature. Ten feet of elevation change equals one flight of stairs climbed even if this is accomplished at different times throughout the day. If you are getting a miscalculated count despite the ten feet elevation change please contact our support team (www.garmin.com/us/support).
