While it's not the prettiest band it gets the job done. The heart rate tracking is great. It's nice having all of your stats right there on your wrist instead of having to open an app to see steps taken, active minutes, etc. The app is just ok, I prefer the Jawbone up app much more. It offered great coaching that is lacking in the Garmin app.

Bought this for my husband to keep up with his heart rate and activity. He says that it has enlightened him and he has enjoyed the challenge.

love my new Garmin HR. it tracks everything. then, easily syncs with my fitness pal. best purchase I have made in a long time. highly recommend it.

I bought this for my boyfriend who uses every feature. He loves that he can get his text messages through his watch. He also works out a lot and make sure he hits his goals. I would recommend getting the geek squad insurance because if the band breaks, you cannot replace it. You have to replace the entire watch which we have done once.

Keeping the unit on reminds me to take a break and move.

We are happy with this. It does what it says and is very useful. I have heard others say that you can trick the step counter into believing you are taking steps by some arm movements, probably true. Don't be a bozo and do that and you will get a good estimation of your activity each day. I think this works great for what it does. If you are using it to run and train for major events you may want a product with more robust features. This works great to track activity and get you off your rear and moving. Now get moving.

heart rate option is a must have...first watch he has worn

Wanted a tracker that wasn't the Fitbit. Liked the way the Garmin looked and has all the features I was looking for. Also has great battery life.

Really accurate tracking of steps/miles/HR. Display is very easy to read and move through options. Size is perfect for what I was looking for.

I am pleased with the Garmin because I wanted something waterproof and it seems to fit that request. I also like the larger screen for viewing.

The heart rate function (which is why I bought it) can be glitchy. I find myself having to reposition the device on my wrist to get an accurate reading while exercising, which is annoying. It has occasional syncing problems with my phone however, I like the features of the app better than I did with my Vivofit, which this device replaced.

Water proof big plus. Bluetooth to my phone is great. Only comment for improvement make the band removable so different ones could be used

Bought one for my mom, then bought this after my Vivofit finally died. I love it. It tells me to move when I’m not moving. Gives me notifications. The only drawback is I don’t think the HR monitor is accurate. It has a heart rate when I’m not wearing it.

Great item. Easy to use and set up. Improve my fitness.

My mother purchased this garmin, she likes it because it is simple to use and the wrist band is easier to use than the one that snaps on.
