Much more then what I was expecting for the price, I am very satisfied with my purchase, I would highly recommend this watch. Lots of features not expected at this price.

The Garmin vivoactive 5 is a versatile fitness smartwatch. It easily tracks various activities from running biking or tennis to even swimming, thanks to its built-in GPS and water resistance. The vibrant touchscreen is easy to navigate, displaying notifications and health metrics clearly. Battery life was surprisingly good, lasting several days even with regular use. Overall, the vivoactive 5 is a solid choice for fitness enthusiasts looking for something reliable and stylish.

Happy with making the switch from my Apple Watch. One of the main reasons is the battery life is so much better and I enjoy being able to track my sleep and body battery. Do miss some of the features from my
Apple Watch like having a mic or responding to text but overall not a major loss for me.

I purchased this watch after my Pixel Watch 2 stopped reading my heart rate after 14 months. Two items that I highlight are standouts. First the battery lasts at least 10 days and this is with daily cardio workouts and 3 time/week strength workouts. The second is the software stability. It is stable and doesn't change settings on its own. I recommend this watch.

I am very happy with my watch. Lots of options! The size of face is perfect for my arm (man) at 42mm which is one of the reasons I really liked this watch initially. It will focus more on health or fitness. Your choice! It is missing the altimeter for stairs but you shouldn't hold on to the stair rails for accurate count if on a watch. You don't need if you can't. Just my opinion... Bluetooth connectivity could be better as far as distance. My watch tries to connect in certain places of my home. I can cut that off but I prefer to keep it on. I am not getting 11 days on the watch battery. Not sure of reason, might be BT. I am getting about 7 days focusing mainly on health.

We usually upgrade our health watches every few years. Well Garmin hit it out of the park again. The battery is better than the previous model and the display is much more crisp.

Got this at a nice Best Buy discount because the Vivoactive 6 was recently released. Still has lots of great features and should be current with Garmin updates. Silky soft band is comfortable to wear at night, syncs with my Android phone and Garmin web app on my laptop as well as Chronometer. Nice size for my small wrist. 4 stars because the music feature doesn't include SiriusXM, and because frequent updates sometimes cause rapid battery drain until I reset the watch but keep my data.

I moved from a Fitbit after my third started leaking water even though it is for swimming. So far, after the first summer in the pool swimming laps, it has done great. The batter life is way better than other smart watches that have to be charged daily. I go about 4-5 days between charging. The screen is bright and the notifications are working like I want.

Bought as a Christmas for my son's grandmother. She loves it and talks about the watch all the time. She really enjoys that it is easy to use and love the all of the compliments she get.. She uses it for swimming, walking and loves all of the health monitoring features..
She say it os the best gift she has received in a very long time..

Starting my fitness journey I knew I needed a new watch, even though I had an Apple Watch. I absolutely love this watch! It helps me start in control of my fitness goals. Super easy to use!

Love this watch! Bought for my husband as a gift after receiving one myself. The little watch does so much and is durable. I am a nurse and clumsy so this watch has sttod up to a lot of wear. The husband works construction and it has lasted with no scratches for a few months so far. Only complaint is the band that comes with is uncomfortable.

I purchased this device after being a longtime Fitbit user. I wasn't happy to lose key capabilities on my previous device so I looked for alternatives. I would say the jury is still out but here are some initial observations.
The most disappointing feature is the auto-tracking. It simply is not working like it should. Mid-activity the tracking stops. It's happened every time I tried to use this feature. Despite NUMEROUS troubleshooting steps give to me by support, it continue the same pattern. I also told support (repeatedly) that no, I did not stop at a light or took a break when it stopped. I was walking in semi-rural areas and was mid-stride without stopping AT ALL when the device stopped tracking. Once I was going up a steep incline.
The second question mark for me is the sleep tracking. I'm not saying that it isn't accurate but it gives very different results from Fitbit. I don't know which is more accurate.
Personally, this device has far more "stuff" than I need. I do like the face of it and the snapshots. I don't know if it's just me but I often have trouble with the top button that I don't seem to have with the bottom button. I'm hoping with continued use, glitches will work out. I put No to recommend but that could change (I hope).

The Garmin vivoactive 5 is perfect for me. I workout; it tracks calories, intensity, and more. I set goals for steps and stairs, and it keeps me on task. When I play pickleball, the vivoactive 5 lets me know how many calories I burn. The connectivity to my iphone and WhatsApp is very helpful to me. I recommend it highly!
