Customers are saying

Customers recognize the vívofit 2 Activity Tracker's exceptional battery life and ease of use as significant advantages. Many appreciate its water resistance and sleep tracking capabilities, while some find the syncing process challenging and express a desire for a heart rate monitor. The device's size and clasp have also received mixed feedback. Overall, the positive aspects of battery life and ease of use appear to outweigh the concerns regarding syncing and the lack of a heart rate monitor for many users.

I really enjoy that it's water proof and that you can see the screen. You don't need your phone to see your progress with steps. Only con is that you have to manually sync your data but it's very simple.

Nice Looking but Not Very Accurate

I purchased this after I lost my fitbit ultra. I liked the idea that I could wear it all the time. The band was alot easier to put on than the fitbit flex was. I did not like that it did not track stairs but I was willing to do without. I also like the fact that the battery lasted so long. The biggest problem for me was when I had 300 + steps when I woke up in the morning. I know I didn't walk in my sleep! ;0) I returned it because that made me feel like I was cheating on my steps and it was not accurate. If this does not bother you then try it. It is a nice tracker.

The Vivofit 2 provides motivation to increase activity to meet the goal, and adjusts the goal as appropriate. I especially like the fact that it is waterproof so I can use it for water aerobics.

I got the Garmin to start tacking my steps, but I didn't want anything I'd have to plug in regularly. It's been awesome. Since it has a each battery, I can wear it in the shower with no worry, and the battery is going on 2 years now. The only thing it doesn't do is sync itself. So if I go too long without syncing it, I lose a bunch of data. Overall, it's been great, though. And I like that I can change the band for a different look.

I was very pleased with this product. It syncs to my phone very quickly and I like how it was a backlight so I can see what time it is while laying in bed. My girlfriend has the first one and always complains how hers doesnt have the backlight on it.

It does everything it says it does and I hardly even notice it even with it on and the best part is not having to charge it every 7-10 days. Overall, I'm completely satisfied with my Garmin.

So far, I like the Garmin Vivofit2. I had a fitbit zip which I like, but I wanted something I could wear on my wrist. It was between the Fitbit Flex and this tracker and I chose this one because of the display features. The price was the same for both trackers but the Garmin displays the time, distance, calories, etc right on the screen and the fitbit flex does not. I chose the Best Buy exclusive red color and I am happy I did. So far, great little watch, tracker to keep me active during my day. It also syncs with The My Fitness Pal app.

After thinking I wanted to stay with a fitbit, I found this waterproof, no charge needed alternative. It is comfortable, not too bulky, and links easily with my android phone. The battery is supposed to last 1 year. So, I purchased the protection plan for $19.99. When it fails, I'll replace it with a new one. The only thing I wish is that it had changeable bands that were more professional (and not for a price more than the garmin itself).

Great device for tracking your activity and nutrition when linked with "My Fitness Pal". It's easy to set up and link with your smartphone. The vivofit 2 has an easy to use display with a sleek look and the band is comfortable enough to wear 24/7!

So glad i got this vs. Fitbit. It can be in water and i never have to take it off! Con: digital screen is not as attractive. Sometimes when I'm strolling my kid it doesnt read my steps.

I bought this tracker after my husband did the research and he got one. I like it because it doesn't require a smart phone app for syncing. The Garmin online dashboard so far seems easy to use and I haven't experienced syncing issues like some other users. I also like having the date and time available on the tracker. The only thing that takes some getting used to is the locking mechanism. And I wish there were other colored bands available. But it does what I wanted it to do and neither I nor my husband have experienced any issues.

I really like my Vivofit2, but I have had some issues with the sync feature with my computer. Still a good purchase. Love that it is waterproof (up to, etc.). I hardly ever take it off.

I like the conviniance of not having to charge it every few days. I also like the information that you receive right from the unit --- steps walked and steps remaining to meet your goal.

After trying three different FitBits (each had issues that resulted in returning them to the store) I decided to try the Garmin. Very pleased with the battery life-- no longer tied to a regular recharging schedule. It does a good job of tracking my daily activity. The software interface is not as nice as the FitBit, but I've made the adjustment.

I have the Vivoactive and love it. My mother commented on how much she liked some of the features so I got her the vivofit. She likes how easy the app is and likes being able to see her steps and other information from the band.
