Customers are saying

Customers recognize the vívofit 2 Activity Tracker's exceptional battery life and ease of use as significant advantages. Many appreciate its water resistance and sleep tracking capabilities, while some find the syncing process challenging and express a desire for a heart rate monitor. The device's size and clasp have also received mixed feedback. Overall, the positive aspects of battery life and ease of use appear to outweigh the concerns regarding syncing and the lack of a heart rate monitor for many users.

Very nice product. Easy to use, fairly easy to read outdoors (could be brighter), like that it sets goals automatically based on my personal information input. Wish the screen was bigger so the font could be bigger, though. Do wish that I had bought the HR version. Overall, I like it.

This tracker does what it says it will, kinda. It does track all your info for you but the sleep tracker is questionable. Almost every night either it has a glitch or I'm sleep walking a lot without knowing it. Also, it can be bit of a challenge the sync or resync with your phone.

The vivofit 2 tracks walking activity, prompts you to walk when you are inactive, and through syncing keeps records of your activities, and shows calories burned throughout the day. This watch also monitors sleeping patterns. All in all the vivofit 2 helps you monitor your health.

The vivofit2 has performed exactly as I thought it would. It doesn't auto sync but I can sync any time I choose. It tracks steps, running, and sleep. The sleep tracking is OK. Based on reviews, it seems none of the basic trackers do a great job with this but it does help provide a ballpark idea of sleeping patterns. Other basic features: if you hold the button for a short time, the display will light so you can see the display face at night. Overall it has been a good basic activity tracker.

I got this to help in my weight loss, specifically for the step count. It seems to count more steps than I actually take. I carry it in my pocket, rather than wear it, which seems to help it be more accurate. I like the sleep tracker. I love that it interfaces with MyFitnessPal.

I was initially looking to purchase a fitbit but the lower price of the Garmin swayed my decision. I'm glad I went with the Garmin mainly because of the price difference but it works fine and is comfortable to wear throughout the day and night - if you chose to sleep with it on.

Love that it doesn't need to be charged constantly. Bought the Fitbit charge first and it broke within three months and wouldn't hold a charge. The vivofit is so much better. Wish I had bought this first and saved myself some $$

I researched all comparable devices and Garmin Vivofit2 was the best for me. It is waterproof and most others are water resistant and recommend taking off before showering or swimming. I am going to the gym and doing water aerobics and this lets me track my activity in the pool.

I am a walker so I am enjoying tracking my mileage. I also like to see my sleep progress. Easy to sync. Love all the features of My Fitness. I'M impressed with the food diary and how many items are in the database. I love how it all ties together with my fitness journal. I don't use the heart rate and cardiovascular features at this time.

I really like how accurate it seems to be. I previously used another type of tracker and it seemed to count when I just stood at my desk and tapped my feet as steps. I feel like I can get a more accurate picture of my activity. I do wish it counted flights of stairs though.

This is a good tracker to see how much activity one gets throught the day. My wife and I have a competition to see who gets more steps during the day (now I had days when I have lots of meetings, she almost always wins unless I take the dog for a looong walk after dinner).

We bought the Garmin Vivofit 2 for my mom for Christmas. Best Buy has it at an incredible price for the holidays so we opted for the 2 instead of the original Vivofit. It was easy to set up for her and has even more features than the original. It is great and user friendly. I'm jealous my mom has the 2. I can't wait to update my Vivofit.

I needed something mainly for tracking my steps and this works great for that. However, the alarm that is supposed to sound when you reach your goal does not work or is so low it may as well not even be on there. But other than that it is a good product and very accurate.

Love the convenience of seeing the information at face value. plus not having to charge weekly since battery life is a year. So far I have no problems. I guess my only question would be is at the year timeframe of the battery do you have to get a new vivo or is it possible to charge it because I did not see anything come with it to charge.

no it doesn't tell you if you have text messages on your phone, but if you want something that counts your steps and is easy to use (well, except you do need to set it up using an app or your computer), plust can use it as a watch, it's perfect. The battery is disposable and laasts a long time (no charging every couple of days)

This Garmin activity tracker works great for what my wife wanted it to do. She needed something simple to use and easy to read. The Garmin Vivofit 2 fits that need perfectly. With auto synching to her smartphone, she can keep track of her activity easily. This item came recommended by the Best Buy staff and we are glad they did!
