The best thing about the new model is the backlight. It was the one thing that I thought was really lacking on the previous model. It also beeps when I'm being lazy which I think is a nice bonus. It syncs on it's own as well. All around great improvements

I bought it because I kept having trouble charging my fitbit and my fitbit coming off and getting lost. This has a secure clasp and a battery that lasts a year. Gives good info and easy to set up. Love it!

got for co-worker. He loves it. The reminder after an hour of non-activity is cool. Really like the secure band closure & the fact that it can get wet. Web-site is not as detailed as competitors.

I love my Garmin Vavofit 2 tracker it is dependable easy to set up. It has increased by activity because it makes me aware. Also the warning when I have been inactive for a long period of time keeps me active. The tracker is worth every penny.

I am not a tech person and found this product to be amazing! It is user friendly and it's a bonus that it tells the time also so I don't have to wear an additional watch. The backlight is great also.

This is my 2nd Vivofit. I really like the addition of the backlit as well as the stop watch feature. I do water aerobics and the Vivifies are water resistant which is an added feature.

I purchased two of these watches, one for me and one for my wife. I never take my watch off and it is the most durable watch that I have ever had. I am a fireman and this watch can withstand the elements of the job. I also love that it lets you know how many steps you take in a day, the distance that you have walked, and also the fact that it keeps track of your sleep patterns. I have trouble sleeping so this gives me something to look at and see how much sleep I am getting each night. Very happy with this product and that is also why I bought my wife one as well. She never takes hers off and she absolutely loves all the features that I listed above.

I've owned 2 fit it's and after my husband got a garmin, I decided to as well. It's been great until today when my time is 5 min slow. It will not update with syncing. My garmin is only about 2 months old so I should not need a battery.

So far so good. Fits comfortably on my wrist. The app is not as great as I had hoped, but it does serve a purpose. I love not having to charge this thing. I'm just curious how attached I will be after the year is up and the battery dies...

I love this tracker. The app for my android phone is easy to use and follow. I've swam, fished, and showered with it on with no issues. I'd like to see more interchangeable bands and possibly a slimmer design. Other than that I love it.

I read reviews on many brands of fitness trackers and the varied prices, very high and lower and what made my decision on this one is that you can wear it in the shower and in aqua aerobics class. I have had it over a month now and it is holding up to water torture, as expected. Very pleased.

I find this easy to use. I have loaded information on my computer to track my progress over a period of time. I like the feature that lets me know if I have been inactive for too long a period of time. Makes me get up and move.

The vivofit does an outstanding job of keep track of all the activities done during the day. We wanted it to track how much walking and other things my wife does during the day and to be able to meet goals. Does it like a charm. Wife loves that she can change bands to match her clothes.

Purchased this gift after talking with the Best Buy associate. My wife is really loves it. Gave me bonus points for not having to charge it AND that the additional bands that can be purchased are fun and attractive patterns.

This is an excellent product. It is reasonably priced and performs beyond my expectations. It is waterproof as I wear it regularly in the pool while doing lengths and other exercises with no issue. For the price I could not find any other product that performs as well as this one does.

I like the fact that one can wear this product while swimming since that is my primary physical activity.

The Vivofit2 keeps track of some great info. I've been able to review my sleep patterns and try to make improvements to sleep better. I also like how it tracks my food intake and caloric burn so I can maintain a good ratio.

Very happy with the Garmin Vivofit. Had to sacrifice heart rate for time but the ability to use as both watch and step counter for same price as fit bit was important. I LOVE that it is waterproof- never have to take it off

Had difficulty at first putting it on and locking it but after a few attempts, no problem. Basic information as to steps taken each 24 hours. I wish there was a way to review steps taken after mid nite for previous day.

Have used it faithfully since receiving it as a Christmas gift. I especially like the monitoring of the steps taken at various points in the day, and the ability track the history of my activity on a daily basis.
