The steps counted vary as well. Also you can't see what time it is while it's tracking a workout.

Posted .Hello Pat, Thank you for your review. The vivofit 2 has an option that will allow you to enter a custom step length to improve the distance reported on the device. Please use the following FAQ link for information and instructions for setting up a custom step length: https://support.garmin.com/faqSearch/en-US/faq/content/ky5UNByyYh9iXay7mvbnt9. The vivofit 2 also has the ability to display the time of day while the timer is running. Pressing the button on the device will cycle through the screens on the unit. Please ensure that the time of day screen is turned on in your device settings in Garmin Connect or Garmin Connect Mobile. Thanks again for the review. -JFH
