Customers are saying

Customers recognize the vívofit 2 Activity Tracker's exceptional battery life and ease of use as significant advantages. Many appreciate its water resistance and sleep tracking capabilities, while some find the syncing process challenging and express a desire for a heart rate monitor. The device's size and clasp have also received mixed feedback. Overall, the positive aspects of battery life and ease of use appear to outweigh the concerns regarding syncing and the lack of a heart rate monitor for many users.

Compare to other activity monitors for the price it works great. The online interface could use some more user friendly features but otherwise it tracks my steps, activities, and sleep patterns. The only issue I have is that the get up and walk alert should buzz or vibrate. Sometimes by the time I see the red bars its been a while. For the price its just as good as a fitbit.

I liked the red bar that reminded you to get up and move around! I like the sleep tracker on the fit bit a little better since I want to be able to show my doctor how often I wake due to back pain problems.

This is a great tracker considering that you can see the time and you don't need to worry about the battery. But the app is terrible and crowded. Garmin needs to work on a very simple app. Also locking and unlocking this thing is so hard. The locking piece is right close to the end of the band, there is no space to get your finger under the band to pull it.

My 8 year old son really wanted his own activity tracker similar to my Apple Watch. I choose this one because the price point was on the lower end, considering it's use I wasn't going to spend more than $100 on a tracker for him. Also because it has a 1 year battery life, is waterproof, has replaceable bands and locks in place. We have had no problems with this coming off, which is something I don't like about the FitBit frackers. This has a little turn so it locks in place. We rarely take it off, the display is easy to read and my son can switch it to track his sleep with one button. It's a great little device for anyone looking for a functional, no fuss tracker.

I like how I don't have to charge my Vivofit2 for about a year. I also like how I can go swimming with it on.

I loved the device; although I had initial problems with the set up. You have to pair the vivofit2 to you Garmin app on the phone not your device. Unbelievable results about my sleeping patterns. It syncs with other apps. You just have to sync the device to the app to see the updates of your results. I prefer this style oppose to other activity trackers.

The Garmin Vofit 2 is perfect to track my daily activities. From working out or just walking, it tracks my distance and keeps me honest. Not having to charge it weekly is a real plus. The enclosed battery is replaceable. I would recommend this unit to anyone that is looking for an activity tracker

I loved my Garmin so much that my husband had to have one of his own. I bought a bundle of extra wristbands for it on Amazon, and they are very easily interchanged. The app is really user friendly and the device is a really simple setup. It pairs with the MyFitnessPal app so you can track your calories as well as your steps. Overall, it's a great buy!

I bought this for my 9 year son and he loves it. It's accurately measures the steps and swimming activity. No hassle for charging every week, the battery goes for about a year. If you are idle for 1 hour at same position it give a nice alarm to start walking or running to make you active. The sync operation needs to be improved by garmin a bit.

    Wife Loves It

So my wife picked this out after using a fitbit for a while. The big selling point for her was that you don't have to worry about recharging it since it runs on a watch battery. I didn't really think it was that big of a deal until I noticed how often I was recharging my apple watch and she could wear her vivo all day and night. Her one gripe is that its not as popular as a fitbit so there aren't many (if any) bands to choose from.

VivoFit 2 has some good features, looks better than other brands. Has safety latch on band. Software gives a good picture of activities, but is difficult to sync to desk top computer, but easy with Android. Inactivity alert is useless, you cannot hear the beep; if that is your attraction, save yourself some money and go with the original VivoFit.

Very easy to connect to my iPad. Seems to be accurate about estimating distance walked based on my height/stride......very similar to my much taller husband's distance though he has fewer steps for same distance. Occasionally I have difficulty syncing my "sleep" time.

The battery life on the Garmin VivoFit 2 is amazing. It really makes life easier when you don't have to think about charging it constantly. The only downsides I have found so far is the fact that it won't auto sync to the app. Also, it is hard to participate in challenges, etc with my fellow friends that have fitbits or other devices.

I only use my Garmin to track my steps and inspire me to keep moving if I haven't reached my goal for the day but as far as that goes, I have been losing weight over the past few weeks thanks to the constant reminder.
