I got this for my granddaughter for her birthday. She had been doing some walking and running and had been asking for it. I thought it was not for a 9 year old but it turned out to be a great thing for her. It even lets us know how often she wakes up at night which is good for us to see why she is up so much. We could actually see how afraid of storms she is.

This product is simple, yet very informative. You can use it to view the time and date, It also keeps you updated on the number of steps/miles you walked and how far you have to go to reach your goal. It is comfortable and waterproof. My ten year old is in love with this product.

It's a great little gadget that keeps track of your footsteps. I enjoyed it but decided to return the product. The job it did was just too simple.

I got this for my little sister’s 28th birthday and she loves it. It's a tad bit bulky but it's a great product. I would definitely recommend it.

Biggest selling feature to me was the watch style battery that doesn't require charging every day.

I LOVE that this doesn't have to be charged. The batteries last a year or more depending on how often you sync it. It is generally pretty darn accurate in terms of miles but what else would you expect from Garmin, right? I've had my vivofit for 2 years now and love it.

I'm happy with my purchase. Got it on sale and I immediately programmed it and set up an account. It's great for starters and its my motivation!

4.5 stars I purchased this for a child who was interested in a step counter. I chose this one because it was waterproof. that has saved us a few times this year. i also liked that it did not have to be charged. this has held up well for a year now, even with a child as its caretaker. we have yet to have to change the battery. the only thing she wasn't as happy about it was that it was not compatible with the app her friends use with another brand stepcounter.

The Vivofit is a solid activity tracker. Counts steps, monitors sleep, and measures heart rate. Chose this over fitbit because it's waterproof.

I wanted something to help keep track of my steps and something for motivation. Works great for both!

I love my Garmin Vivofit Band! Every day it gives me a daily goal to strive for and tells me how many more steps I need to take to reach that goal. I can even put in my calories and compete with others online.

I bought those cheap walking trackers that never did anything. This is awesome. You download the app that's available for and you learn a lot about your fitness program. The sleep program is awesome also.

The one year battery life is what sold me on this product. The app syncs well, overall solid for people who have a general knowledge of fitness.

Bought it for my girlfriend to replace her fitbit that was recalled last year. She loves it so far. Great for a beginner trying to stay active.

Our kids all have fitbit devices, so we read the reviews on numerous personal fitness products. We have had several Garmin products in the past, so we chose Garmin and have been very happy with the Vivofit.

So far I love it. It helps keep u with what I m doing during the day and how I am sleeping at night. The only thing it needed was better instructions.

This band has some of the best feature set for the money. The year long battery life is a definite plus. Only lacking a stylish design.

I like the Vivofit because the display is on your wrist and not in some app that you need to open.

Overall - a good fitness tracker band...Does what is expected & the mobile & desktop apps give a good user experience. Battery life (1 year, at least), is a huge plus. I also have the Samsung GearFit2 - which is great also, but having to recharge it every few days takes away from being able to truly track my sleep activity & calories burned on a more consistent & seamless level. Overall, it's a decent fitness band for the money & its battery life is definitely a big selling point. The only draw back I think is the lack of a locking mechanism for this version of Garmin's fitness band...The band is light enough, however it does feel like it could come off easily (which it has for me on a few occasions) - if not for this reason, this review would be five stars.
