Originally I had the jawbone up24, and while I enjoyed the app usage more I like the display screen that my vivofit has! I love that it enters me in step challenges, and i can connect with my friends that have a band and compete with them as well!

I liked the feel, display info and not having to charge like everyone else. The biggest downfall for me was the steps being severely inaccurate, it would have over 300 steps tracked after I took it out of sleep mode in the morning. I do a lot of driving and minimal walking during the week and by the time I got home there would be 3000 or more steps tracked and I might have taken 500 through the whole day. Now while running it was very accurate but it was important to me to get some accuracy throughout the day. I took this back after a week and decided to not even go with a different tracker. I would recommend if you do not care for accuracy or if you want your steps counted while brushing your teeth.

Posted .User input is required to optimize accuracy on the vívofit. You'll want to make sure your user settings (age, weight height, activity level, training zones) and device settings (custom walk length, custom run length, etc.) are entered correctly and synced to the device. Once given this information, the device can more accurately determine your steps, distance, and calories burned. The vívofit does not use GPS, so steps are counted based on your arm movement. This leaves room for minor discrepancies in added/missing step data. Please view the following FAQ article for more information:

A Constant Reminder

The sleep monitor is fun also.
