Posted .We thank you for the review. Unfortunately, the Garmin Activity Trackers are not intended to collect data for activities such as riding a bike. Instead, the sensors are designed to detect natural movement like walking or running. We are glad to hear that you still find the product useful in other areas, however!

I have not yet figured out how to interpret all of the data so will have to reread that bit of documentation that came with it. For example, I know that the one number is the steps taken and the other is the goal, but I am not sure how the goal is determined or when it is reached. There always seems to be a goal remaining no matter how many steps I achieve. The one con about the product is the band, it is not the easiest to secure with the way it is made. I find the little rubber "hooks" difficult to push into the holes in the band; I think because they are both rubber and therefore both have give to them.

I feel it is more accurate step counter and also love the watch battery feature. Gets annoying taking device off every 5days to recharge. Overall I like the garmin.

One of the benefits of this model is it has the long lasting watch type battery. Also the Garmin APP is so easy to sync & use. We also later purchased the heart monitor that instantly synced with the watch.
