I bought this activity tracker for my daughter and she loves it. It displays time, heart rate, steps, miles, and tracks sleep. The app to sync it to and get it started is pretty cumbersome linking you to a few different Garmin websites to adjust the settings, but overall it wasn't bad. It's a basic wearable for a starter or youngster. The display is pretty dim but that's because the device itself doesn't need charged and last for about a year. I'm guessing the dim display gives it the legs to make it that long

We bought this for our son. He walks a lot at work and wanted to track his steps. He found other great features we didn't know it had. Very nice price, we love Garmin products!

Garmin fitness band is a great value for money. Does everything I want in a fitness band. Tracks sleep habits, keeps track of steps and miles. Easy to sync each day to keep track of all activity. Also, makes a great watch with time and date readings.

Easy to download to iPhone to track steps and see sleep patterns. Waterproof in a pool, shower or even a bath!! Very accurate!

Purchased for my daughters based on the recommendation of their doctor. Accomplished the need to track steps, motivate them to move more and also track their restless sleep.

Knowing fitbits have tendency to break.. and having been a fan of garmin, figured give this a try... so far not bad.. I wanted something on the cheaper side that tracked steps but also synced with myfitnesspal.. Does the job, syncing with garmin app is no problem at all through tablet. ANT adapter gave me some troubles, so just use the tablet app. I do take into consideration that my counts may be off because i move my hands a lot, I also put it on left hand since I am right handed, hoping that makes a difference. Like how it syncs, i just keep in mind that i may have to knock off a few hundred steps due to hand movement.

Tracks, steps, mileage, calories and time/date. Even has a daily step goal. Software is ok, sync issues caused by latest software. Had to return once due to syncing problems.

Has worked really well for our active 7 year old. Didn't want to spend the extra $$ on the kids version. Great battery life, the 1 I have, battery lasted 1.5 years. Love that it's water proof and no need to charge it.

Coming from the Jawbone UP, this is a huge step up. All of its features outweigh the UP band. It's waterproof, so I don't have to worry about taking it on and off in the shower/pool or covering it in the rain. Having the bluetooth sync is awesome because you don't have to even take it off to transfer the information over to the app. Not having to charge the device is very convenient. The band stays on pretty well and doesn't really get stuck on clothing when dressing or wearing a jacket. It has the clock feature, which is nice, but when I want to wear an actual watch with my outfits I have to switch the device to my dominant hand...which tends to move around more so I might not get as accurate of a reading. Very happy with my purchase. Already recommended it to a friend and she loves hers!

The vivofit doesn't have all the bells and whistles many trackers have, but it does the basics, like step counting, and distance very well. It's fairly comfortable to wear, stays on well being worn 24 hours a day, haven't had it fall off yet after weeks of wearing nonstop. I wish it vibrated for movement but at the price and functionality, it's great. The long lasting battery is a huge plus as well.

Bought this for my 8 year old and she loves it. Never takes it off!! Soo easy to use. I like it better than my fitbit bc its water proof.

Easy to sync with PC and phone, love the no charging the battery aspect, good price and does the basic tracking well.

had the Vivofit, and decided to try a Fitbit Flex. After it died within a year, bought another Vivofit. Great not having to charge it, easy display to read, more economical.

I really like the Vivofit. It is lightweight and very comfortable. The fitbit bands irritated my wrist, but I don't have this problem with this band. I really love the battery life. I found it annoying to have to charge my fitbit weekly and often times would forget to put it back on after it was done charging. I wish it had an alarm built in, similar to the fitbit, and utilize a vibration sensor. I think a slight vibration when the red non-activity bars light up would be very nice. Again, this is probably a trade-off for battery life. I am happy with my switch from the fitbit thus far!

Easy to wear , long battery life , statistical performance with Garmin connect a breeze to use, nice color (slate).....overall a great product and at $59, a no- brainer !

My wife is pleased with the fitness band. She likes how it shows the steps and the miles she has walked. Plus, putting the band on her wrist is much easier than the one she purchased and used before purchasing this one.

My wife was wanting a Fitbit HR, but I did not want to spend the money on what might become a nightstand relic. For half the price, the Vivofit has all the necessary features and with the large display, my wife now knows what time it is (some of the time, at least)! She loves it and the water resistance has proven to be a necessary feature for her lifestyle. Best of all, she is following the recommended diet and monitoring her calories and exercise while seeing positive results in the first week.

I love it as I am a beginner for swimming and can get it wet. It does not measure heart rate. It gives me a good idea how many steps I do, etc. I do a lot of walking but hard to get exercise in when I work two jobs.

I intended to purchase a FitBit. However, after comparing it with the Garmin Vivofit, I purchased the Garmin as it does everything that the FitBit does, yet it cost much less. It was simple to set up and it has all the features that I was looking for. I like the Garmin Vivofit so much that I plan to purchase a second one so that my husband and I will each have one.
