The sleek design and ease of use are major plus factors for me. After charging, rapidly I may add, set up was a breeze with my Samsung 8. The display is easy to read, a watch is not necessary unless you like to accessorize your outfits. The sleek design makes it unobtrusive. The data from steps, workouts including swimming, sleep and 02 saturation are easy to interpret. I would rec this product!!!

First, I have a tiny wrist, very tiny. This fits perfect for us tiny people. It's rare to find anything wearable that doesn't fit and look to big.
Ok, the rest. This tracker is fabulous as a health tracker. I found wearing it in the right place, on your less active side, just above the wrist bones, snug but not tight, the heart rate and o2 sensor, are very accurate.
The sleep and o2 night sensor also work great.
The options you can change are great like time you go to bed and get up. The alarms and notifications work great.
It's easy to use and if your not sure about how to utilize the features, it's easy to get the info on the net for every feature available.
It's comfortable. I'm older, 59, wear glasses and have no problem reading the screen. The touch screen is very responsive for me. The lighting can be changed in the settings too.
I found it very easy to charge and fast to charge. Battery is great too.
I can't find one thing to complain about.
I'm not a person that works out other than yoga and simple exercises. I'm physically disabled. That's why I got this tracker, it's great for health tracking. I like that it does have the yoga built in so I can see how my workouts effect my body.
In my family, 2 of us now own a Garmin tracker. A 3rd family member is planning on buying this one in the near future. We all love the Garmin line.
We've only heard complaints from people we know that picked Fitbit. That's why we chose Garmin and am glad we did.

I rely on this tracker with the Garmin connect app to track activity and sleep patterns. It is lightweight and waterproof, never in the way. It has endured sweat and dust (followed by quick soap-and-water washes), occasional impacts and after 8 months looks as good as new. It can be set to sense activity, which I have found particularly helpful in winter when the touch screens on fancier running watches don't work well. Great battery life--several days. Sleep tracking seemed off several months ago, but after recent software updates seems spot-on. I also checked the heart rate tracking against one of those cumbersome around-the-chest heart-rate monitors, and, for me, this tracker seems accurate for heart rate as well.

This is a great tracker! It is more basic than a smartwatch style, but provides a lot of features. Garmin was sooo much easier to connect to my phone than Fitbit (which apparently wasn't compatible with any of my new phones over the years). It connected and synced right away.
The slimmer size and the cute rose gold accent make it look a little less athletic and fits in better for day to day. The screen is small but shows everything no problem. Using it for text messages would be more difficult, but that's not what it's designed for; it's just an extra. There are a few watch faces to choose from, and the Body Battery is by far the best feature. The app can take a little bit to get set up but once you do, it is full of a ton of really great information and graphs, and even more on the Garmin Connect website. You can access additional workouts through the app as well.
The counts have been very accurate for steps and sleep. The sleep tracking sometimes does need to be adjusted because it might think I slept longer than I did if I snooze the alarm a lot. The heart rate always matches what it is when I take my own pulse. The body battery also lines up quite well to how circumstances are.
This has been a great tool for me to get healthier!

My wife got this in exchange for the Galaxy Watch Active and enjoys this a lot more. It fits perfect for her smaller wrists, and she loves the look! The battery life is fantastic, it's actually really easy to use, even though it doesn't have physical buttons. I really love the garmin watches and trackers as a whole. They are very well made, the GPS is very accurate when utilizing that function, and their connect app interface is in depth but intuitive. Highly recommend this if you don't want a full watch but want some of the smart functionality of the bigger watches.

We're both active, and very much into weight lifting and walking. We both also came from FitBits whose quality seems to have greatly deteriorated as popularity has increased.
These Vivosmart trackers were a breath of fresh air. Lifting accuracy is better than we expected it to be, sleep tracking is great, and of course the ability to track steps & stair climbs is great. Overall we love them, and will probably upgrade to one of the hybrid watches soon because of how happy we are!

I Love My Garmin Tracker So Much That I Purchased A Spare. When They Break At The Charging Port And They Will, Garmin Does Replace Them For Free. However You Will Be Required To Pay The Shipping To Swap The New Device Out With The Broken Device. Only Downside Is, That It Takes Eight(8) Weeks For The Swap. That Is Why I Bought Two(2).

I purchased this product over several others due to wanting to track my blood oxygen levels during sleeping. I love the way the sleep tracker works including the movement piece. The only thing I have noticed is when I am laying in bed before going to sleep, it doesn't always recognize that I am still away but just relaxing. It has been an eye opener on tracking my deep sleep and REM. I also like the fact that it has your stress levels and will even vibrate if you need to relax. This is perfect for someone who doesn't need the entire smart watch and is just looking for the basics. I do wish you could change the clock to military time though.

I like all the walking, distance and sleep tracking features. The stress and body battery features are neat too. But I got this because of its O2 measuring ability. That works pretty well, though its numbers are 2-4 points below my dedicated unit.

Bought this mainly for the sleep tracking and pulse ox. Once I saw my pulse ox was consistently around 93 and other pulse ox machines it was 98, I became skeptical. I looked online and found multiple articles about how the pulse ox wasn’t the greatest. So I don’t recommend using this for that. Other than that it’s still working great. I do think the HR is accurate and I like some of the other features like stress and activity.

This fitness tracker is really good: it is waterproof, does heart rate, and a multitude of activities. It records workout time. I love using this in the pool for swimming and water aerobics! The front display can be set up according to your likes. The only downside is that it will display "connecting to phone" several times a day and the battery needs charging twice a week, but the charging time is less than an hour. I would definitely buy this again!

Got this for Mother's Day to replace her old Garmin tracker. She likes it as it's small and forgets she has it on. However, the trade off is it's somewhat had to read for older eyes. Additionally, the charging cable is difficult to maneuver into the correct location for a charge. You have to make sure it's charging before you leave it.

This is a great activity tracker for the money. It is small and low-profile compared to my previous Fitbit HR. The screen is on the small side and you have to get some of the information via the app on your phone instead of directly from the tracker screen, but again, for the money, this tracker is packed with features and looks great

I've had trackers since the day of the first Nike+ wristband, then a Misfit disk, then 2 Jawbone bracelets. Something would always happen with them. The Nike wristband worked fine and helped me train for a marathon, but on marathon day it didn't record my race. Ugh! The misfit disk worked fine, but I lost it. The Jawbone bracelet stopped working after about a year. I replaced it and the 2nd one stopped working after 6 months and later literally fell apart.
After 5 years of no fitness tracker I missed the info they provided and decided to get another one. They have changed in the meanwhile, bigger, with screens, etc. The Vivosmart was the slimmest one I could find and still seemed bulky on my wrist.
The info you get in the Garmin portal is great, however. I returned it because there were many reviews of people whose bracelets had fallen apart and I wasn't sure the rubber construction would last for more than a year or so. I didn't want a repeat of the Jawbone experience. Purchased another Garmin watch instead but this bracelet I think offers better value for money - the same info except for native GPS at a lower cost.
It's a shame they didn't make it so that the bracelet can be replaced, or provide an option for low-cost repairs. I hate feeling with all of these tech items that they aren't meant to last.

Really like the accuracy of the Garmin products and the Connect app. I had a Vivosport before this, but was looking for something a little more dressy for work but not too fancy for the gym. This Vivosmart is just that. This also seems to offer a little more features in terms of the Vivosport like sleep SpO2 and body battery. Super happy with this purchase.

I like many of the features - steps, flights of stairs, heart rate - great. I have found that it falls short in a few ways:
- Does not track steps on a stairclimber, and gives a wildly inaccurate heartbeat during stairclimber workouts
- Can't really track cycling - I thought when I purchased this that there was a way to use the app to track things that the device itself couldn't (i.e. with GPS)
- Scratches very easily
- The gold band on my device lifted out and exposed internals within 2 months.

I'm sorry to hear you've experienced an issue with your vivosmart 4. The device uses an accelerometer to count steps. If you're holding onto the railing of the step climber it would not count steps. As well, depending on your wrist angle you might experience inaccurate heart rate. This device does not have GPS so it would not record any GPS activity. If you've experienced an issue with the gold trim, please go to support.garmin.com and reach out directly to our product support team for assistance.

The Vivosmart 4 does not seem to have any upgraded features over the VIvosmart 3. The screen is smaller and I am unable to set the watch face to the same view that I had with the Vivosmart 3. Other than the colors, I like the Vivosmart 3 better than my new Vivosmart 4.
