Best Buy completely botched the delivery and smart wifi connection on three kitchen appliances. Horrible customer service! They were not going to deliver the dishwasher even though they had it in stock on the day of my delivery.
Best Buy said they did not have it until I complained. First they said on the phone the day of the delivery, "its first come first serve." Well, I paid for it over 5 weeks ago". Suddenly it turned up. They delivered it several hours late and the delivery guy comained to me multiple times that "he was not happy about this" as he had to go back at the end of his day to pick it up and deliver it. The customer service people do not listen and hang up on you. I've spent over $5500 on appliances here. In the store, they guys were great. After that, its all offshore people who made a huge mess, hang up and cold transfer when they do not want to fix difficult issues that Best Buy created! When I tried to get Geek Squad support, it was no where to be found. When I called and asked, "can you tell me what your installed yesterday" they said no, it looks like its still on order". Michael set up return orders and initiated refunds when I am not returning anything. I will never shop here again and will most likely initiate a law suit if not compensated.

Installation was well done but since the stove was not set for delivery until the pre-measure was done no one told us when the delivery would be. The Best Buy sales person did not tell us to call to set up a delivery date. It was very confusing. The installation was very good. They removed the old stove and put in the new one very efficiently.

I had one of the worst delivery and installation experiences with Best Buy.
Living in a small Manhattan Studio apt, I knew the space is tight, that's why I had Best Buy In-home consultation to select and order a refrigerator and gas oven. The home consultant measured the space and suggested appliances that will fit which I ordered through him and also booked for haul away of my old appliances. I continued to emphasize throughout to make sure there are no problems at delivery time.
Also, I wanted to have both the items delivered at the same time, knowing my kitchen is small and it will be helpful for delivery to have both appliances installed at the same time so that they can arrange space as needed. However, Best buy's 3rd party installation company has separate divisions for refrigerator and oven installations so even though they came on the same day but on different times,
First came the refrigerator, which delivery and installation went very smoothly.
Then came the harrowing part, When the gas oven guy came , he said he can not take out my old oven because there is not enough space to disconnect it. I suggested that we take the refrigerator out to make some space or if he can find some other way, But it didn't look like he was interested in finding a solution. He was rude and unhelpful. After making a video of my space and talking to his office, he just left. I refused to take delivery of the new oven, because he did not take the old one. I made him talk to my Best Buy home advisor also but he did not listen to Bestbuy advisor either. The Gas Delivery guy refused to give his name to either of us.
I heard him telling his delivery partner on the phone "this is like a prison kitchen". I felt very offended by this comment. And to add insult to the injury, he had switched off my gas connection while trying to remove the oven but he left without turning it back on. So now I was left with my old oven which I could not use,. I informed my Best Buy consultant and he expedited to have some one come to put my gas back on Monday (my gas was switch off on Saturday and Sunday they are closed). It meant that entire weekend I could not cook, just had to order-in food or use microwave.
This entire experience caused me great inconvenience, stress, anxiety and trauma, having faced rudeness, bad customer service, and offending comment that my kitchen is like a prison kitchen.
My Bestbuy home advisor was very helpful and understanding. He escalated my complaint to the installation company and explained to them what was need to be done. After 2 weeks of first attempt, they came again and this time both the installation guys were nice and came with a can-do attitude and installed my oven.
I appreciate all the help I got from Bestbuy home advisor who got this done finally.
