Awful experience

Great Professional Installation

We've had no problems with this installation. They knew what they were doing. They even leveled the stove and checked for gas leaks. Very professional service.

Gas valve a different size than new gas line. Managed to use parts so that the old line could be used and get the stove working right a way.

One month and three stoves

First stove--the "installers" screwed up the orifice change from natural gas to LP, cross-threaded one, partially installed another. Result is one burner didn’t function properly. Replacement stove ordered. It arrived at the house with both sides severely caved in. Refused that one. Replacement ordered. Took a couple of weeks. FINALLY, after almost a month, I have a working stove. Installers left debris in my driveway. Stove is good, installation service lacking.

First we were rescheduled multiple times because apparently there is only one subcontractor who serviced our area, despite us living only 60 minutes from the store. Then when we eventually got the item installed two months after we ordered it, the install was unable to be completed because they ordered the incorrect LP conversion kit (Frigidaire has multiple conversion kits and is the only manufacturer that doesn't include one with the stove). We then tried to do a return and exchange to get a different brand. This took multiple conversations with different customer service associates over a period of a few weeks. The exchange didn't end up happening because a DIFFERENT subcontractor needed to pick the Frigidaire stove up, but wasn't authorized to do the uninstall. At that point, we just gave up and did a return and eventually were able to have someone come out and pick up the unit. There was one particular woman in customer service who was an absolute gem and helped us out with this incredibly frustrating situation in the end. She was the only bright spot. Other than her, every interaction was confusing and Best Buy was clearly not communicating effectively with their subcontractors at any stage of this process. We ended up finding a local appliance dealer for our new stove and had an absolutely seamless experience with them. It was four days from purchase to install. Now, four months later, we finally have a working range and oven.

Improper Install-Best Buy Not Correcting
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Qualified technician was not here for install and stove not converted correctly. Flames shoot up halfway in oven. Have missed 3 days of work after being scheduled for "install" or "repair" to correct the installation issue and have not had a qualified technician show up for any of these set up appointment times. Still can't use stove a month after it was delivered and supposed to be installed. After the set appointments that no one shows up to spend hours on phone and internet chat box and get told I have to reschedule. It's already been rescheduled 3 times and no one shows up. If you try to use the stove there are huge flames and it makes you dizzy and nauseous. Bought stove from Best Buy because there was supposed to be a licensed technician to install it. That is not the case. At one point they said to contact the manufacturer who told me that they can't send a tech until it has been verified that the stove is installed correctly but I can't get Best Buy to actually send anyone to install it correctly and have been told when contacting appliance repair places that they could but if they do it will void our warranty and protection plan.

Make sure its right before they leave

Improper propane/LP range install
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Delivery and install: Legacy Delivery And Installation LLC is an active operating under USDOT Number 3169570 Did not use the new gas connector for the propane range install, used the old one already there. Paid $200+ for this service. Installer tried to keep to gas connector kit. No delivery bill provided. Follow up with BB online customer chat was a waste of time. No real follow up. Will not use BB again for appliance service.

Inept and dangerous!! Botched propane conversion!

The installers didn't know what to do and only put in part of the propane conversion. VERY dangerous!!! Taking your life into your own hands!!. In my area their subcontractor is NAL group. Poor customer service from Best Buy to fix the problem. The conversion parts that came with my new oven were lost. I spent extra money to get it fixed on my own.
