I have to say that I'm very impressed with the quality of this series on bluray, it looks gorgeous in HD, before I got my bluray set I watched my old DVDs that were released by ADV Films a few years ago and I noticed that the episodes are a bit dark, and you may loose some of the details on the video, but with this HD transfer you can see everything, some people have said that the video looks a bit washed out and that it's under-saturated, but for me it looks great, when I'm watching the series I got the feeling that I'm watching the animation cels and I don't know if this is good but like I said before, for me it's great. As for the audio, you get two options, English and Japanese with English subtitles, both tracks are encoded in DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 mono, both tracks are pretty solid, sure by now we're spoiled by the studios with the 5.1-7.1 surround tracks, but I think that both tracks in this release do their job quite well. English subtitles are also included, and here is the first problem with the set, the font size for the subs are quite big, and because of this, there are occasions where a sentence is too long that a few letters will "pop out" of the picture square, I'm going to leave a couple of pictures that I took directly from my TV(I don't have a bluray drive so I can't take screen shots) so you can see of what I'm talking about. The extras, fortunately Sentai Filmworks included all the DVD extras here, well I think the only thing missing are some comic books scans or something like that, but the rest are here, and here is the another problem, the extras are in 16:9, the problem is that the extras were filmed in a 4:3 AR so they look "stretch" on the bluray, I don't know why Sentai Filmworks did this, but if you care about this kind of stuff, you will probably going to notice it, but here are some good news, there's a way to "fix" this, just adjust you TV picture setting to a 4:3 size and you will see the extras in its OAR, it's not a big deal since probably you are not going to be watching the extras that often, at least I'm not, and if you are worry about the AR of the episodes, don't be, all 105 are in their OAR, meaning in 4:3. Also included in this set are the 1994 OVA's, they also in HD although I think I read that the OVAs are in 1080i, I'm not really an expert so I didn't notice the difference, but I can say that they also look beautiful in HD. The OVAs are presented in 4:3 AR with two audio options: English and Japanese audio tracks with English subtitles, now here's something that I would like to point out, the English dub included in this set is not the same that the one in DVD release by Urban Vision, this is a new dub with the same voice actors from the TV series, which is great! at first I wasn't sure of it because the way that the actors play the characters is a bit more serious of what they did on the TV series, but they sure sounded familiar, so kudos to Sentai Filmworks for doing this. Now about the packaging, the series is packed in a cardboard box(thinner than the previous DVD releases by ADV) and is divided in 3 bluray cases with 14 discs, in the first two cases(6 discs per case) you get the entire 70's series, in the last case you have 2 discs, one with the 1994 OVAs and the last one for all the extras. It would've been great if Sentail could've included a booklet with all the artwork from Alex Ross, as you may know, he did all the art for the DVD releases for ADV Films and although you get some of the art in this release (in the outer box, bluray cases and the discs art), you are going to miss on some of his amazing drawings, so if you have the DVDs, and care about this, I would suggest you to keep them. Overall I think this an amazing release, great HD transfer, solid audio and a wide selection of extras. P.S. I ordered this set from bestbuy.com and I happy to say that they shipped my set in an actual box with a couple of air pillows for extra protection, I was worried because they usually use these grey plastic bags with no protection and if they would've used this packaging, I'm pretty sure I would've received a damage set, so kudos for bestbuy.com for the excellent packaging, I hope they keep using boxes for future orders.

This set put me in a time capsule back to my childhood. Such a great cartoon but looks a million times better captured in this format. Must own for every fan

The graphics look great for an anime from the 1970s. The box art is also a great look.
