I bought this computer yesterday and so far it's been a pretty decent buy. It's very fast and has a lot of memory. The only thing that's not so good is the video card. I suggest you purchase a new one if you are a gamer. On the Windows Experience Index it receives a 3.0 on the gaming graphics ans a 3.8 on the desktop graphics. A decent graphics card should fix both of these. Everything else is in the 5 range.

I purchased this desktop as upgrade from our Gateway laptop and for a family of 4, this computer works great for us! Lots of memories, fast processing and the Premium Vista is awesome. I bought it with a 22 inch monitor and my teenagers sure love gaming; I love watching movies from Netflix on line. I will definitely recommend for home personal users.

For the price you cannot go wrong with this. It runs quite smooth. Though when trying to play todays newer games you will want to upgrade your graphics card. Intergrated ones are never good. No problems with this machine yet I have had it for a few months now. I am quite pleased with it's overall performance.

Bought this computer about four months ago, best computer I've ever had. Deleted all of the free trial BS and its the fastest computer I've seen. Even with the free trials it was blazing fast. Blew my friends 1600 dollar apple out of the water. It opens large programs like iTunes, word, power point, excel, instantly. Easily the best buy out there. And it dropped 35$!!!! And i was worried about Vista running slow. Everything is as quik as it could be. And its way better than xp. Definitely worth the price. Don't think twice.

I researched several computers commonly sold in retail stores. At the time, this one had the best features for the price. Plus, the feel and look of it was perfect (black and brushed silver). And the keyboard has built-in wrist support. I am extremely happy with it.

This is a very fast computer and well suited for gaming although the graphics card may need to be upgraded depending on your gaming needs. The blue light flashes when the computer is off and is very bright. I liked the kepboard and the mouse design as they are non-skid.

This is the first Gateway quad core computer I have owned, before I only had HP single cores. I must say I am so impressed by Gateway's quality and the speed of the quad core! It runs my largest programs and my tablet smoothly at the same time! That's something my other computers would never have done! I would definitely recommend this computer to a graphic artist!

i like this computer cause it's inexpensive and will work with most programs. it works well for me.

This is a very fast system out of the box. Video card will need to be upgraded for gamming. Only improvement I would have liked to see would be a second PCI-E expansion slot to be able to bridge video cards.

i just orderd this and from what i see it looks to be a preety solid computer just on question if any one could anser can i still play my old Halo game and UT on it just wondering. but other than that looks peerty good.

I purchased this machine and was thrilled, until I needed the disc drive, the button sticks, the drawer does not open. I brought the first one back 2 times, the third time I brought it back I swapped it for another, It had the same problem, I again swapped it for the same model, once again it had the same issue. I returned the entire package and went with a Different brand. I would not recommend this model to an enemy, and certainly not a friend. Sandy B
