The buttons are fussy you have to hit them just right to get them to actually work. It’s a bit small but one’s functioning it’s totally adequate

I would have given it 5 stars except for the keypad which I find to have a very small contact point & hard to push. Also would have preferred a handle operated door rather than a push button one.

This microwave has a small foot print and doesn’t take up too much counter space. I was able to get it on sale. I couldn’t be more happier with this GE microwave.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm giving it only 3 stars because while it has a year warranty when the same model failed after 6 months, GE would not replace it. All they would do is send me a certificate for a rebate (which I have to hope I get!) for the amount of the original purchase price AFTER buying a new GE product. I bought the same model because it fits on my cabinet shelf but had to pay more for this one. Also these show every fingerprint both on the stainless and shiny black surfaces. The only reason I wouldn't recommend is because of the flawed warranty policy

My food was so hot when I took it out the first use that I cut down all of my microwave times to half of what it was with the previous microwave.

Too much pressure is needed to get the door open. You almost have to hold the unit with opposite hand so it doesn’t slide away. That’s my only problem so far.

Great price, right size. However...under-powered at 950w (but that's an easy work around), and the plastic protecting the buttons wears out easily.

Posted .Hello Kimberly - thank you for providing your feedback regarding your new microwave. We're glad it is running great and is a great size. It is easiest to open the door by pressing the center of the door latch release. When pressing in areas off center and further from center, the door latch is more difficult to operate.
