GE quality control is terrible.

Got purchase home, found that box said was black, was white. Best Buy ordered a new unit with free pickup and delivery. After delivery, found was missing the bracket that bolts to the wall. Called GE, they "ordered" a replacement part, 2 weeks and still no bracket.

Under unit light way too low. Lettering on controls way too light and hard to read. Pressure necessary to activate controls way too hard especially for older people with arthritis. It should be as easy to press as your mobile phone. Handle isn't anywhere near as comfortable to grip as the Kitchen Aid microwave. I was an industrial product designer. Give this product a very poor rating.

It broke almost at the one year mark, and got it fixed by the manufacturers warranty. Now we are at the 2nd year and it broke again, and now the useless extended warranty is not showing up to fix it.

My microwave is making a strange noise, I need a phone number to ask questions.

It just stopped working. The microwave makes a humming noise, but does not heat anything. The repair cost is equivalent to purchasing a new one. This microwave replaced a KitchenAid microwave which lasted 25 years. My other microwave which is a GE countertop microwave is 19 years old and still going strong. Sadly, this one lasted 2.5 years, and of course it is out of warranty. Very disappointed!

After 6 months of use I had to have it repaired under warranty. This unit had the same wattage as the last but seemed to be hotter that my original..

Good replacement for a step down microwave.

Glad to have a bisque replacement for my kitchen but not happy about the vent flapper that makes it sound like I have a critter in my attic when the wind blows. Wish I could have been told about that before installation.

Problems started immediately. It doesn’t make sound when the timer or cooking time is over. The motor gets very loud while cooking and then goes back to normal. The screen doesn’t always display properly, certain parts of it won’t light up. We haven’t had it a year and I don’t think it will last much longer.

We use it for reheating beverages and food as well as steaming vegetables. We have had this microwave for several weeks now and it is simple to operate and does a nice job. The fan works well as does the lighting. I'd buy this product again.

I'm very disappointed. My GE microwave shorted out this week, less than 2 years of owning it. I had the electrician out to make sure it had nothing to do with our electricity and it didn't. My previous microwave lasted over 15 years. I wish I could remember which brand it was as I won't waste my time with GE again. Beware!

Big disappointment

I brought this to replace one I had for 15 years. This one died 30 days after install. Had to call GE repair. They came and said the mother board went. They have to order it. Will be allegedly one week. Big disappointment to have a brand new microwave die. Had to buy a small counter one until this one is fixed. On another note. The fan runs whenever you use it and it is loud.

Had a PF error message on August 13, 2021
PF stands for power failure
our power did not go out and
the microwave quit working
We unplugged to reboot but still no luck
I was hoping we would at least get a year or two out of it
We installed this ourself and it is not easy

Installed this microwave, and it has an incredibly loud buzzing/vibrating noise. And, I mean loud. It sounds like something is broken or damaged. The delivery box was in good condition. I installed it, myself, and it was gently and correctly installed. I bought this to replace an older microwave because it seemed to be wearing out. (Heating took more time, the inside light would only come on when the microwave started, and the light underneath was not working.) Looks like I'll have to reinstall the old one and return this one. That's a ton of work just because I made the mistake of buying this microwave.

The control panel is not backlit - can't see it

Sadly, this microwave broke. It stopped working on 11/10/22. The warranty is not available, because it was good for only a year. I need to find someone to either fix it or buy another one. I would not recommend buying this brand microwave.
