GE Microwave over the Range
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this new microwave ... however, I had a small issue and when I spoke with my salesman, Ronnie Callejo at the Best Buy on Veterans Blvd. in Metairie, LA., he took care of the issue immediately. I could not say enough good about Best Buy .. and the guys with Twin Services that removed my old microwave and installed this new one. They were all super to deal with and I highly recommend Best Buy, Ronnie and Twin Services.

I love this microwave and the features but the only problem is after a three minute warm up, a plate if food is not fully hot. There is still parts of the plate were its partly not properly heated, unlike my previously similar model. So basically I just stir up the food and/or put it back in for another minute.

DIY Install on Microwave worked greate

The base that the bolts screw into from the top don't have a very broad base, therefore, it flexed the sheet metal on the top of the microwave more that it should, but when I tightened everything up, it snugged up fine. Looks pretty good. If you look close, you can still see the bow in the sheet metal slightly.

It was easy to install by myself, with the help of a friend to lift it into position. My only complaint is that the touchpad controls are hard to press. A lighter touch would be an improvement.

No nonsense microwave

This model lacks a convection oven, but we never used this feature on our previous unit. Was easy to install as it locked right into the old mounting bracket.
