Wanted a small fridge for an in-law apartment, constrained by the width and depth available in the very small kitchen. However, wanted something bigger than the undercounter jobs. This is perfect, great size, yet with a lot of shelf, door and freezer space. Door is reversible which gives greater versatility, can't beat its energy star rating, hardly uses any electricity. Very quiet, great looking, very happy!

This is fridge is quiet which was #1 on the important list. We use it at our cabin so we needed a small fridge. The only thing we don't like is the black sides.

needed a refrigerator for the office and wanted one with freezer on bottom - this one has fit the bill - no too big and not one of the dinky college ones -- its a real refrigerator - nice looks

Very pleased with overall design. After I broke my 40 year old trfrig, this new GE is stylish and would fit most decors. Important to me was that refrigerator magnets stick to front and sides---which works fine. Not all brands have magnetic stainless steel---so be careful. Reading reviews, I was worried about noise but everything seems fairly low noise levels, espescially following advice to load freezer at least half full. Lower freezer is great for access to beer and drinks at top. Upper compartment isn't very cold at the lowest setting---so I'm ratchung up cold stings gradually. For a compact refrigerator, this GE is nice.

When reviewing some of the negative comments regarding this fridge unit- I was a little concerned about ordering this product. Despite some of the concerns/complaints, I decided to place the order. It's been around 2 months now- and the fridge works excellent. It's quiet, has ample storage, and serves the purpose in which we bought it for. No complaints. The "only" complaint is that I think the price is a tad high for what the unit is/provides.

I LOVE this fridge!!! It's SO quiet that my husband and I have actually put our ears up against it to make it's on! Keeps everything nice and cold... And for it's small footprint, it holds a large amount of stuff! And the best part is, it's REALLY pretty☺️ Best Buy had the best price, and the delivery guys were EXCELLENT! They delivered it very carefully 3 flights up in a Brownstone! Not a scratch.

A day before the allowed days to return expired I had to call for a service due to the noise. If u live in a tiny apartment it is impossible to talk with noise of the fridge in the background. It was a mistake not to have returned it. There was no other size that would fit in my space with the feature of bottom freezer other than this. I specifically bought this because of bottom freezer. The fridge doesn't have a control button to turn off the freezer. I have to move it and unplug it because it is hard to have a conversation. During the day the noise comes back around every two hours. You can't enjoy your weekend. The noise is present during breakfast, lunch and dinner in my tiny kitchen where I have my dining table. Good thing I got a repair plan. But it will make me happy if they replace this 4 mos old fridge. At this point I don't want to recommend this to buyers who live in an apartment. Wish I could upload the annoying sound I recorded on my phone to have the repairman hear it when he comes back.

We have had this fridge for nearly three years now. About a year ago it began making an unholy noise every time the evaporator fan kicked on. We had someone out to repair it and they said the noise was normal. Normal! It sounds like a old boat motor on at full blast! I have since read that this is a common problem with GE fridges and I refuse to buy another one until they fix this issue.
