Cooled quickly after hookup. Included baskets are sturdy and can be moved easily. Additional baskets can be purchased from GE which is a nice extra. The LED light in the lid is handy if the freezer is in a darker room. I purchased this after reading another review that claimed this freezer is "silent". I can confirm that is definitely not the case. The compressor can clearly be heard from 15 or 20 feet away under load. It's not loud, but definitely not silent either. With that said, I think this is a great garage freezer. If you're planning to keep it inside, bear in mind it's not completely silent and would be a good fit in a utility room.

This is replacing my old ge 9 cu ft chest freezer that lasted 20 yrs. The baskets are a little small, but besides that it works well. The power on lights is a reassuring feature.

It's silent. The lights let you know everything is good. It's well illuminated when you open the lid. The delivery folks from Best Buy were on time, professional, and friendly.

Bought this just over a year ago - works great and is quiet.

Great small freezer. We needed to downsize and decided this was what we wanted. Took a couple months to get but well worth it. No problems with it at all. Holds more food than you think by just looking at it. Would buy again if needed.

Delivery was delayed but other than that everything went really well. This product is one of Consumer Reports top recommendations so I'm glad to own one. Bestbuy is of course always solid.

After first plugging it in, it started cooling down perfectly. It's doing exactly what it's supposed to do

Worst purchase ever, this is the second one that was delivered the first one was damaged upon delivery. I returned it, and they delivered another one. It has been less than a month of owning this deep freezer and I have already had to make a service call for it due to it not freezing any foods past a certain point in the freezer. Everything at the bottom freezes fine anything past the midpoint doesn't freeze at all. I purchased a warranty through Best Buy so when I called I was informed that since its been less than a month I have to utilize the manufacturer warranty.

Good size for a family of 5. Spacious and nice to have a couple baskets for organization. Looking forward to having this last for years.
